Thanks both for the heads up 😭. 1.2% still isn't the worst if you can comply with the T&Cs so I think the accounts are worth keeping. Personally, I will only make the minimum monthly deposits (£1 / £10 respectively) to keep the accounts ticking over as I am still clinging to one or two old >1.2% accounts.soulsaver said:

Sods law, just funded it first thing this morning after it taking a while to get documents sent back and forth!! Think will just put £20 a month to keep it open and see what happens later in year as 1.2% is well below some of my current deals but come the end of their bonuses and announced reductions it may look a bit better!!soulsaver said:

That’s annoying - I haven't even sent my MBS signature form back yet! I might move £1000 from my maturing Celebration RS then keep it ticking over at £20 a month in case 1.2% becomes a good rate!soulsaver said:

I'd returned my signature form last week for the Xmas RS (which I was giving a miss to when it launched, but as rates dropped..) but they haven't listed it online so it's not funded... so I probably won't bother or just go for the £1 jic.MDMD said:

With the RS3, I started with £1k but like you I'll continue with £20 pm min.
AFAICS the Reg saver Bond 3 isn't affected.

Lloyds Bank Monthly Saver (the 2% fixed one) - It appears to be possible to open one of these even if you don't have a Lloyds current account, provided you have a login to the Lloyds online banking site.I've never had a current account with Lloyds, and have just successfully opened a Monthly Saver, and funded it directly from my Santander current account. The application literally took a few seconds, and a few clicks (didn't even need to type anything) and the account appeared immediately.4

Worth checking that you can FP your matured funds out w/o having a Lloyds current account.Fingerbobs said:Lloyds Bank Monthly Saver (the 2% fixed one) - It appears to be possible to open one of these even if you don't have a Lloyds current account, provided you have a login to the Lloyds online banking site.I've never had a current account with Lloyds, and have just successfully opened a Monthly Saver, and funded it directly from my Santander current account. The application literally took a few seconds, and a few clicks (didn't even need to type anything) and the account appeared immediately.
