My RS was due for today, the 25th. Wasn’t expecting the payout until Monday but was pleasantly surprised to find they paid out today.EPC0 -

Am looking for safe savings home for a large sum from selling a property. Best fixed interest options seem to include Investec and Vanquis but all around 1.5% for 12 months. So how can "Fixed Rate Savers" be offering interest of 2.8% for 12 months fixed term? Who are they and what's the catch - can anyone help, please?0

This thread is about Regular Savers - these are all accounts which only take small deposits (max £500) a month, so not suited to your requirements. You should start a separate thread for your question, and please name the 2.8% "Fixed Rate Savers" you found. This thread is regarding Regular Saver Accounts rather than the Fixed saver accounts you are talking about so beat starting a new separate thread for those that dont follow this thread but in short the catch is it's either a scam or your money will be at risk as will be investment rather than savings!!Harpagon said:Am looking for safe savings home for a large sum from selling a property. If it is over £85,000 best putting it with NS&I all rates are as dismal now"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
