Not heard anything yet from them. I can't keep up with which ones are variable and which are fixed (lesson learnt to add this to my spreadsheet in future!)Fingerbobs said:Any word on Nottingham Building Society rate cuts? I've still got their Seasonal Saver and Special Regular Saver Issue 8 running, both variable interest rates, but haven't heard anything from them regarding rate cuts yet.
Are these both variable rates then? I also have the Panthers 2 so that is probably the same?1 -
Didn't there used to be an MSE RS thread that people used to use for their 'went to website, printed off form, filled in form, wrote on envelope, licked stamp etc' sort of chit chat whilst leaving this thread for new issues only?.Nick_C said:OK. Can't take any more of the irrelevant rubbish on here, so I'm unsubscribing.
SS2, thanks for all the help these thread provided over the years.
That used to the convention anyway.5 -

Don't think I've seen this on here yet …. Furness BS dropping interest rates by 0.5% on many variable rate Savings Accounts on 1st May. They say they would write before 16th April …. no sign of any communication from them here at Bobblehat Villa! If my branch opened RS goes down to 2% @ £500pm I'll still keep it.

Being nosey... How many Regular Saver accounts do you have? — MoneySavingExpert Forum4 -
For some time, their only regular saver is the Small Saver. 4%, £50 per month maximum, available only to those living locally (even existing members, even those who used to live in their local area).adindas said:My Saffron RSA is about to mature and I have got the Maturity pack. If I tend to open an easy access account with each provider rather than end my relationship with them, and keep a minimum amount in the account.adindas said:My Saffron RSA is about to mature and I have got the Maturity pack. Simply to maintain a relationship with them and online access up and runningI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?3 -
Complaining about 'irrelevant rubbish' being posted on this thread is the same as complaining about too many cars on the road etc etc.... it ain't gonna change, so why get worked up about it? If you're getting too many notifications then change your settings and be late to the party when something new and exciting is announced.veryintrigued said:

I for one like the 'irrelevant rubbish' as these accounts need further explanation with all the conditions (and just lately) rate cuts left, right and centre, and I'd rather do that on this very comprehensive thread rather than be diverted to several others on this forum that I don't tend to explore.8 -
I have a column for this in my spreadie, but went back to the paperwork to double-check - both the accounts are definitely variable rate. Don't know about the Panthers 2 account as I don't have one.liamcov said:

Thanks for the tip, I've done the same now. Although already seems like I put too many details in it!Fingerbobs said:

For anyone interested, the Panthers 2 is variable, just checked the paperwork. Let's just hope they aren't planning a rate reduction across their accounts.0 -
The Nottingham have committed to holding their savings interest rates for at least the next 3 months and not reduce any rates within that time. Hope this helps.
