I asked to close mine via the app chatbot yesterday at 3.10p.m. - ten minutes ago I found that the monies had been transferred to my current account (plus the interest) and the RS closed. I've opened a new one and funded it five minutes ago.

I have noticed several people closing their Santander regular saver and opening a new one to get the increase in rate from 2.50% to 2.75%
Can someone confirm the increase if the full amount of £2,400 is deposited over 12 months?
I make it about £3.60 and obviously less for any shorter period. Am I missing something here?2 -

Just been advised by them that rates will increase by 0.30% on both on 01/11
1 year to 2.10%
3 year to 2.50%
