If Lloyd's regular saver has gone up to 1% why does my RS still show as 0.75%? It's only got a month to run so will have pretty much no impact on myself but curious?
Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Its a fixed interest rate based on when you opened the account.1 -

soulsaver said:I can confirm you can close the 'old' saver by chat. It starts on that robot thing but patches you over to a real person (still in chat) after you get the fields populated. I did it yesterday - says will be done in upto 3 days but was done within a few hours - and I opened the 2.5% regsaver at 01.00 this morning.
The account was showing when I logged in this morning; first £200 funded the ac by transfer and set up SO for 11 future payments starting 6th May..
Usefully, you can do number of payments on internal SOs...0 -

TIAThanks I just did that over the phone. Those who want to close their existing Regular eSaver i12. Avoid using their Chatbot, you are just wasting your time as this option is not there. So you will still need to call them.Use their TB instead. It might take about ten minutes to get someone but you have little to lose as it is 0800 phone and you could wait reply while doing other things. The existing ac will need to drop/disappear from your online banking list before you could apply online for the new one.
