Rather looking for 'the signs' I'd wait for them to confirm to you that they 'are in receipt of your online signatory form' as per their letter, else you risk not 'able to transact on your account until we are in receipt of this' again as per their letter to you.

Why do you assume you will get confirmation that they have received the signatory form? There is absolutely nothing in their letter that says they will confirm receipt of the signatory form. Nor can I recall that I ever got any confirmation for the receipt of the signatory form for my other MBS accounts. The norm is that you can transact on the accounts as soon as they come out of "pending".

I’m going to wait for a reply from them either by post or email that I can pay into the account
    Exactly.

The lack of empathy on this specific part of the forum never fails to amaze me.

People sometimes see ££££ and nothing else.
How do I know whether the delay is down to the coronovirus, or something else that needs chasing up?
I'm sure if the delay caused me to fail to adhere to one of the T&Cs they would be the first to state I haven't adhered to the T&Cs?
If they are experiencing delays due to the coronovirus, then perhaps they should advise people of this in their communications?
At the end of the day, all I am doing is ask whether others have experienced any issues similar to mine, rather than harassing them.
You trying to push money into this account every day will help matters no end and then additionally messaging them too.

    As I say.

    BE patient!

If staff from Monmouthshire are reading this can I apologise...
I am being patient. I haven't made a complaint yet. I haven't got time to sit down and read every single letter I get sent. I read and adhere to the T&Cs. There is nothing in those T&Cs about waiting for a confirmatory letter. I am an existing customer of there's, I have had my ID confirmed in the past, have existing accounts yada yada yada...
Rather than us adjusting how we operate, how about them adjust the way they do?

Please refrain from apologising on my behalf. You haven't even asked for permission to speak for me, never mind got such permission.

    1. So I have set up a Saga account as I have 10k I would like to put into saving so I'm using the drip method/. I've put 10k into there.
    2. I now need to set up a regular savings to transfer into monthly but one problem...
    3. It seems like it needs to be a current account to actually change the transfer account on Sage

    Any ideas?
My current account is Halifax which is unlinked to my new Sage account

Move it from your Sage Account to your current account and from there into the Regular Saver.

@colsten you'll be glad to know my Christmas Saver is now up and running and functioning as it should.  Hopefully yours will too

Did MBS notify you that they had now received your signatory form?

They have told me by secure message that they have still not received my letter with my signature so my account is still locked. It is not showing as pending. I sent the letter back the same day I received it last week.

Monmouth are a funny outfit. I love them for their fixed rates but in some ways they are a bit clunky. In spite of them having paid out, without any fuss, the proceeds of Issue 1 last August, my registered account to which the payment was sent is still showing 'Awaiting Mandate' even though I had met the requirements (probably a cancelled cheque as I don't have any paying in slips). I wait to see what happens this time - my Celebration Bond (Issue 14) matures on April 25th. I'm also not struck on their demand to see a pass-sheet which I consider well OTT. From my experience no other building society does that.
