Did MBS notify you that they had now received your signatory form?

They didn't acknowledge mine last year - see above.

@colsten you'll be glad to know my Christmas Saver is now up and running and functioning as it should.  Hopefully yours will too
Thanks for letting me know. Here's hoping  B)

Only in response to the secure message I sent yesterday. I am expecting a letter in the post at some point, as I had with my Saver Plus I applied for a couple of days earlier

They have told me by secure message that they have still not received my letter with my signature so my account is still locked. It is not showing as pending. I sent the letter back the same day I received it last week.
I have noticed another way of telling if the account has been unlocked - go to the 'details' link on the account, then 'more information'. If the account has been unlocked, the start date of the account will be recent, otherwise it will be a date some time in the past

Yes the date is in the past! How are they getting post if they are working from home? Is someone scanning the letters?

Just logged back in again and been told received letter, stop has been lifted, and I am now free to transfer funds into my account. Passbook being sent out today. Date opened still showing as 01/01/0001. This probably changes when first credit goes into account.

My deposit, which wasn't showing first thing this morning in my Monmouthshire Saver Plus, has now appeared, with a date of yesterday, when I FPed it.This is good!

I will ignore that the deposit is described as a Standing Order as it doesn't matter that it wasn't, and that the Date Opened shows as 01/01/0001 🤣 . I will, however, have to check back tomorrow, or Monday, as the interest rate currently shows as 0.00%.

As an aside: as expected, I have not had any letter / email / secure message telling me they received the signatory form, and that it is now possible to transact on the account.

Seems Kent Reliance have now moved onto issue 4 of their Regular Saver, down to 2% (from 3%), still upto £500 pay-in, variable interest rate and permitted withdrawls.

Another one (partially) bites the dust. Just had a letter from the Swansea Building Society saying that the rates are dropping on the regular saver from 2.75% (2.78% AER) to 2.00% (2.02% AER) from the 1st May.

You'll be chuffed to hear that due to being patient (and without any need to call them, message them or berate them on here) I've received the passbooks and a covering letter stating that the account is now 'up and running' and thanking me for returning your '... Signatory form' X 2.

    As expected.....
