Check your account online - you can add your new account to the display, and as soon as they have processed your signature (which they probably have by now if you sent it back), you can then add money. It does seem to take ages though before the money hits your account - I FPed some yesterday to my new account and it still isn't showing.1

Edit: their response states they haven't received my signatory form yet (even though the account no longer shows as pending). So I'll just keep trying to add money each day until it starts working (increasing each attempt by 1p so I can keep track of each payment).I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -

To keep the account it requires a £25 min balance and a £25 min monthly payment. Almost certainly another closure for me.0 -

I still have accounts at 1.35%, 1.3% and 1.2% but they are all subject to review and rate reduction. I suspect 1% may be worth holding onto shortly.Luckily I have most savings in fixed rate regular savers maturing early 2021.

And yes am am existing customer.
Surely we can cut them slack at the current time?
Start to play hardball and they might just question whether this account is worth it.....1 -
