Or “existing members”, & as JamesRobinson48 correctly pointed out, “membership of the Darlington BS can be quite quickly and easily obtained by any UK resident, by first opening an Instant Access account.”

    Why "3 a/cs per member" rather than £750 p/mth ?

Actually that's better as you then get 12 withdrawals rather than 4!
  • Tipton Building Society sending emails out now with maturity options for their Regular Saver that matures 31 December 2021.

Autorollover into a 7 day notice account at 0.25% if you don't submit your choice.

One year fixed option is 0.90%

I opted for close account and all funds to nominated account.

31/12 is a Friday with a few non-banking days to follow. Could even be a good idea to give the 7 day notice on the auto rollover account.
  • Email from Furness BS on 16th about the Branch Regular Saver from January 2020, which rolled over (at a lower rate) in Jan 2021. Looks like there won't be a roll over Jan 2022 as an RS, but balance can be rolled over into a new fixed rate saver. Email says details to follow shortly. It was good while it lasted, but let's see what the new offer is, as their current savings rates are a little underwhelming.
  • Tipton Building Society have 2 versions of their maturing 1.35% RS. I opened a postal one in November 2020 which has a maturity in February 2022 and allowed 16 payments. At the same time there was an App version with maturity on 31/12/21 which allowed 14 payments.

They do have a one year RS available to all, though it's variable rate.

My Principality Regular Saver Issue 23 @ 1.25% matured yesterday so I've closed it and won't be opening another, due to the drop to 1% with Issue 24.

I think my brief dabble with Regular Savers (as a drip-feeder) looks to be coming to an end. Once I discount all the childrens' accounts, those I'm ineligible for or those that don't offer online access (or don't have a branch nearby), then I'm left with around 6 out of the 36 or so accounts listed on the first page of this thread and, at a typical 1% and £250/month, the MSE RS calculator works out I would be just £4/year better off by drip-feeding from my Tesco Internet Saver, so the already-small benefit has halved... and at that level, I've decided it's just not worth my time setting these things up any more.
