    Darlington B.S

Could someone put me right on a little matter please.

Just been looking at the MSE regular savings page and in particular the Darlington B.S regular saver at 1.25%

Now it states: “It currently lets you pay in up to £750 on one month of your choice – so you can quickly boost your balance.”

Now I know my eye sight is not great but I can’t find this statement on the Darlington website, can you?

That did apply to the first one I opened in July as I topped up my first £250 with another £500 a few days later. That first account was entitled 'Special Occasion Saver - Increased Deposit Limited Edition'. It was described as a limited offer in the T&Cs.

You may need to ask them if it still applies but it seems doubtful.

There was no similar offer in the other issues.

re. the Nationwise Flex Regular Saver - my partner and I have both previously had Flex Direct accounts and both closed them once the bonus interest rate had expired.  We are now thinking about opening a joint Flex Direct account and wondered if that would mean we can both apply for the Flex Reg Saver (even though we would only have the one current AC between us).  Anyone know?  Can't find the answer in the T&Cs.  If not then I guess we could always just open a second basic current account...

If you have a joint Flexaccount, each of you can apply for a sole flex regular saver.

    flexclusive-regular-saver-2
I already have Flex Regular Saver paying interest of 2%. I tried to see in my Nationwide account which I could apply, but this flexclusive-regular-saver-2 is not on the list
Does anyone manage to open this account ? Or this account does not exist ??

The Flex Regular Saver at 2% has only just been released. I cannot see a new one being released so soon after. I suspect that your link to the Flexclusive regular saver 2 is an old link.

Edit. The Flex Regular Saver is the only one showing on the Moneyfacts listing and they are usually bang up to date.

Are you confusing this with the FlexDirect current account that pays 2.00% for 1 year?
I had a Flexclusive Regular Saver 2 several years ago
I suspect you just typed' Flexclusive Regular Saver' into Google and clicked the first search result
