I can’t understand why the Virgin Home Buying Coach Regular Saver isn’t mentioned anywhere? I opened one this week with an interest rate of 1.75%. I did read that it was only available via an app, but I opened it via a link to their website with no issue.
It's on page 1 of this thread, along with all other RSs. It's been discussed extensively on this thread since last November, and one or two of us have 3 of these by now.

    It's also listed on https://moneyfacts.co.uk/savings-accounts/regular-savings-accounts/
Three? I have issues 2 and 3 (my understanding is that there was no Issue 1). Has issue 4 been released? If so, it hasn't been mentioned in this thread...

Only issues I am aware of are 2 and 3.

Therefore the implication is that those whom you mention as having three of these have more than one of each issue...

Can these be opened by homeowners?

Had a quick read of the website and it does state for prospective first time buyers.
There is nothing to say homeowners are excluded. It says it is available to users of the Home Buying Coach app.

“This product is only available to eligible users of the Virgin Money Home Buying Coach app. If you are not a user of this app, we will transfer your account to our standard Regular E-Saver.”

It is somewhat vague. It does not have anything specific. Also, there is no current standard regular saver, so that won’t work.

In my opinion, Virgin Money would not penalise anyone going against the spirit of the eligibility criteria.

Probably because there's so much rubbish posted in between the questions/answers that most people lose track and can't follow along.

Everyone can use the forum search, or if that's not good enough, Google Advanced Search.
