Hi Everybody,
Here is this weekend's update to this thread.- Loughborough BS Monthly Saver (Issue 4) withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Cambridge BS Regular Saver (Issue 6) withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Virgin Money Regular E-Saver issue 14 replaced with issue 15 maturing on 20th April 2021, updated on page 1
- Yorkshire BS Regular Saver (Issue 3) account withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Yorkshire BS Child's Regular Saver account withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Newcastle BS Regular Saver accounts all withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Chorley BS Regular Saver (Issue 2) and Members Regular Saver (Issue 2) both withdrawn and removed from page 1 (the Children's Regular Saver is still on their website so I presume that is still available)
- Ipswich BS Smart Save (Issue 2) account withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Tipton and Cosely BS Fixed Rate Regular Saver account withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Principality BS Dylan Regular Saver Bond (for children) moved from 12 month post to more than 12 months' duration post on page 1 as this account lasts for 3 years (thanks for pointing this out Ed-1)- Monmouthshire BS Regular Saver Bond (Issue 3) account withdrawn and removed from page 1
- Principality BS 1 Year Regular Saver Bond (Issue 21 paying 2% fixed) withdrawn and replaced with issue 22 paying 1.5% fixed
- TSB Classic Plus Account (in the feeder account section) interest rate dropping from 3% to 1.5% on up to £1,500 from 2nd May 2020
I have checked through all the accounts on the first page and all those that remain are still available and are paying the interest rates indicated on page 1. Those with variable rates are likely to change over the next month. If you want to see whether an interest rate is variable or fixed, just look at the "Interest rate" line for each entry - I have always put in that line if the interest rate is variable or fixed.I will do the next update next weekend.

Thankfully many of the regular savers are fixed rates. However, if you need to close to enable you to afford the Virgin RS you can close immediately.
I don't need to close my YBS regular saver to fund a new one but why would you keep it.1 -
Not good news, low interest rates and an economy and stock market in what looks like a recession.0

Trying to apply for the OakNorth account but the page just freezes at the last hurdle. Collapsing under the strain I guess.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0

Saffron BS has today pulled its RS (paying 2.50%). They still offer a 'Small Saver', max £50 per month, to residents of their 'heartland area'.2

My Halifax regular saver has matured and I've applied for a new regular saver. However, I've just noticed that it has also created an Everyday Saver account at 0.1% - this didn't use to happen, is this now normal?0
