    Market H RS Issue 2

    Link now working again.

    As already being registered for online access, it told me to log-in and click "apply" but doing that only offered the 3.5%RS. So I applied as an existing customer (and said I was not registered for online banking) and used my existing password/memorable details. Account successfully opened

    Just had a go at this now as the link had been taken down by the time I wanted to apply on 24th.

    Can I ask if others who have the original fixed term RS and now have the 2nd, do their accounts look similar to this below or have I somehow got the wrong product? The one with the £1006.43 balance is the older one.

    I did follow the link above kindly supplied by drphila, but wonder if the application got shifted sideways somehow. Also, I can't see the interest rate anywhere on the account called "1 Yr Reg Svr Iss2 - XXXXXXXX". I guess if it somehow has been shifted to a different product, I have 14 days to cancel it!

    Don't worry I did the same as you and my account looks the same as yours, the interest rate will show once you have funded the account. I sent £250 to my account and it took almost 2 hours to arrive but it has now arrived and account showing 6% so you should be fine.
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    This is perfectly OK and is the same as mine. You wont see an interest rate until the account is funded.

  • Thanks TD14, that puts my mind at rest! .. Phew!

    I funded Issue 1 with £250 in December so it's Issue 1 @ £10 and Issue 2 @ £240 on Jan 2nd  :)

    Oops. Ended up with a second login and separate accounts. Nevermind!

    I understand! I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat when it comes to stretching the rules! Well, some of them anyway!

    My old login didn't/doesn't work (closed account two years ago) so opened as a new customer, got some reference number sent by email.  Unable to fund as not got an account number yet. A lesson in keeping a minimum balance account going methinks...

    I was trying to close issue 50 online, but the only options were cash in branch and cheque by post. I've attempted to set up nominated bank account and received the following e-mail:
    Thanks for your recent secure message. We've looked into your request and as your account isn't an online based account, we aren't able to add your requested nominated account. Making external or internal payments online is only possible with our range of online accounts. With your account, you can withdraw funds in cash in a branch, by cheque or internal transfer in a branch or via post, or you can request a cheque via our Secure Message option online (subject to terms and conditions). If you'd like to add a nominated account to another account which is online, please send us another request online with this account number or simply reply to this email confirming the account number these details should be added to.
    Is there any way of receiving my money by bank transfer? I have a branch not far from where I am so it's not a big problem, but prefer to avoid branch visit if I can.
