@Special_Saver2 congratulations on the birth of your daughter and thank you for all the work you have done running this thread it has helped me make the most of the opportunities out there. I think you have made a brilliant choice in your successor.
I wish you well for the future.
@Bridlington1 thank you for all the work you have already done in helping people make the most of regular savers and thank you also for agreeing to take over the running of this thread, well it's successor.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I'd also like to pass my congratulations on the new arrival and tender my thanks for your excellent contribution over the years.
Bridlington1 does an incredible job as a contributor, an absolute backbone of the Savings & Investments section. He will do a splendid job of holding the reins, so don't lose any sleep on that subject - you'll be losing enough for other reasons!
Best wishes to you, your OH and the daughter for now, 2025 and the years to come.

Re the closure of this thread... will it be 'searchable' still?And to add my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to @Special_Saver2 — and of course good luck and thank you to @Bridlington1!6

@Special_Saver2 a million thanks for all your work on this thread in it's various incarnations over the years.
@Bridlington1 thanks for agreeing to take over.
@Bridlington1 could I make a suggestion? How about two new threads.
One only to be used to provide information about when new accounts become available, become NLA, or when interest rates changed. Purely informative.
The second to discuss the accounts themselves.16 -
Perfect time to start a NO CHAT RS thread and a separate RS discussion thread.13

@Special_Saver2

@Bridlington1
Thanks in advance for taking this over.6 -
Once the old thread is closed you will be no longer able to add new comments to it but the thread shall remain available to view and search and a link to the old thread shall be included in the first page of the new thread along with links to the previous iterations of the thread that were maintained by @Special_Saver2.PowerSavingMode said:Re the closure of this thread... will it be 'searchable' still?And to add my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to @Special_Saver2 — and of course good luck and thank you to @Bridlington1!
Thanks for the suggestion @Nick_C. I shall not be creating a new no-chat thread.Nick_C said:@Bridlington1 could I make a suggestion? How about two new threads.

Instead I plan to rebrand the existing Archived List of Regular Saver Ts&Cs thread and run it parallel to the main regular savers thread to accommodate this function, the way this shall work is detailed below.
The main regular savers thread shall include a list of the currently available regular savers listed on the first page similar to the current regular savers thread we are posting in now and shall continue to be used for any discussion regarding regular savers as this thread is now.
A post detailing recently NLA accounts shall be included at the end of the main regular savers list, when this post becomes long older entries on this list shall be transferred to new posts in the new regular saver thread and a link to these posts shall be included on the first page of the Archived List of Regular Saver Ts&Cs thread.
Whenever a new regular saver is launched, goes NLA or rate changes are announced I shall make a post detailing the changes in the Archived List of Regular Saver Ts&Cs thread, in essence it shall serve the purpose it currently does but take on the additional function of being a defacto no chat regular saver thread.
The Archived List of Regular Saver Ts&Cs thread shall be renamed to something along the lines of ``The Archived Regular Savers History Thread" and shall be marked more explicitly as a NO CHAT thread as this thread has expanded beyond just regular saver Ts&Cs since it was launched last year.
