Confirmation of Payee says No - which banks allow payment regardless?

I'm keen to get a payment into a brand new West Brom BS RS before the month-end. My usual payer bank, RBS, says can't confirm payee (which WestBrom did warn about) and won't allow payment.
To save me trying each of my current accounts in turn, can anyone confirm which bank(s) are more trusting/foolhardy and will allow this payment regardless of CoP status?
Thanks.

I think there are 2 issues here.Sending money to a long established account where the name you entered does not quite match the name on the account.Sending money to a newly established account that may not be setup on all relevant systems.FD were good about me sending money to an account where the name didn't exactly match. I can't remember if they allowed me to change the name or what? Edited to add: but the transfer went through.I have never tried with FD sending money to a newly established account.During Covid, my mum coulld not send money to the agency that was looking after my dad. This was from Nationwise. This was because at the time Cashplus was not on the CoP system. So for the 1st transfer had to go into the branch to make the transfer. After that, the trainsfers could be done on the website.0

I'm fairly sure Barclays allow you to proceed after a hundred warnings and many clicks to say you accept the consequences but haven't tried since the changes to push fraud.0

pretty sure RBS allow you to proceed even if it isn't a match1

I got one through to Santander when they'd spelled my name wrong on the account (missing a letter) so it was a partial match, I think the funds were from NatWest though which doesn't really help you!
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Santander will definitely allow it in the app. Not sure whether it also works online0

I frequently have problems with failures to confirm the payee when I want to pay to Principality BS accounts, but both Santander and Nationwide allow me to proceed (after warning me of the risk involved, of course). With regard to @friolento's point, I do it in online banking (web browser), not phone app, for both.

RBS, online & app - No
Santander, online & app - No
Barclays, online & app - No
Maybe things have become more strict since APP fraud is likely to cost banks more.
ETA Lloyds, Nope.
