Confirmation of Payee says No - which banks allow payment regardless?

I'm keen to get a payment into a brand new West Brom BS RS before the month-end. My usual payer bank, RBS, says can't confirm payee (which WestBrom did warn about) and won't allow payment. To save me trying each of my current accounts in turn, can anyone confirm which bank(s) are more trusting/foolhardy and will allow this…

Nah. Even with my fat fingers and failing eyesight I can manage to cut'n'paste an 8-digit number without somehow cocking it up.

Was able to set up the new account as a payee with full CoP this morning (RBS current account).
