Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

Principality offers no reward for loyalty. The maturity interest rates are the same as those offered to new customers. Fortunately, I opened a Regular Saver Bond Iss.22 at 1.5% AER a week ago. The maturity blurb dropped through the letterbox on Monday morning, I'm glad I didn't wait before opening a new account.0

I'm not going to bother with a replacement account. I've had enough of chasing interest. Going to simplify life.
So our £3000 is going straight into our S&S ISA's as we don't need it available. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)2 -

I have just applied for the Saffron Account and nothing came up during the application about my address not being in the specified post codes. Can anyone confirm if you can make withdrawals using their online banking as under the withdrawals FAQs its not very clear?0

I have (or have had) a number of Saffron Accounts, including the Regular Saver Issue 3 (which was open to all postcodes as long as you had online accounts). In principle when the Regular Saver matured it could only be managed in branch/by post, however, I was able to give instructions via the Secure Message facility to transfer the balance to one of my online accounts. I could then withdraw my money from Saffron from the online account. It was a little round-about, but it got the job done. I did email them in advance to check that this was all possible, and they said it was. I may have been allowed to get away with this because it was May 2020, and restricitons at the time meant they were discouraging branch attendance (not that I would have wanted to as I'm miles away!)
