https://www.thenottingham.com/~/media/files/savings/forms and documents/savings-terms-march-19-lit3117.pdf?la=enIf we materially decrease an interest rate to your disadvantage, we will notify you in writing 14 days in advance of the change. You will be given 30 days from the date of this notification to close or switch your account without notice or penalty. We will define a decrease to an interest rate as ‘material’ if it reduces more than the Bank of England Base RateSo I've emailed to ask if my assumption is correct, and if so what the early closure process is. .
Any response from NBS please @bubieyehyeh
I received a response by email yesterday from the query I sent them on Monday. Their response states:-
"We are aware that there was a mistake in the letters that were sent out regarding these accounts, however as this was our error, you can now close your account prior to the maturity date without occurring [sic] any penalties"
I shall be visiting my nearest branch on 1st November to close them. As well as the Virgin RS19 (store version)I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -

Principality maturity instructions
The fifth for me too.
As you say, the appearance of the instructions seem tied to when your account (s) were opened.
Makes perfect sense.3 -

Maturity instructions can now be submitted online for the RS Bond 20 and also the Christmas 2020 Saver Bond.
Including moving part of the balance into the new Christmas 2021 or new Regular Saver 23 accounts.
This also has the advantage (for those who choose to move £125 from Christmas Saver 20 to 21) of retaining the same account details.
Mine matures 6/110 -
Opened a Saffron 12 Month Fixed Rate Regular Saver issue 7 online over 2 days ago but the account is still not opened.
Anyone waiting? Thought the a/c will show up instantly online.
All I got after completing the online form is this message, not even an email.0 -

Cambridge RS maturity
The ability to set my maturity instructions have appeared online.
The default was an easy access but their system had kept my external current account details.
Its also possible to open a 3% Loyalty RS with the maturity funds (I suspect most, like me, will already have this).
I'll revisit the maturity instructions after November's payment to see if anything has changed, assuming it doesn't get bounced back, as I only performed a dummy run.1 -
