Does anyone know where I can find Principality's changes of No Longer Availables? Their website says they've been through everything, and are changing variable rates on 12th September, but I cannot find a list of past issues.
I have the original Learner Earner which is currently 5.75%, plus a NLA ISAI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
On the PDF on the YBS website it does state Loyalty Regular eSaver no change 5.75%, but the Loyalty Regular Saver is listed as reducing to 5.65%.Bridlington1 said:YBS Loyalty Regular Saver/eSaver 5.75% NO CHANGE 06/09/24
Just a hunch but I suspect the Loyalty Regular eSaver no change might be an error, as it is the only online version of the currently available to open in branch/by post accounts that is listed as going to have a different interest rate to the open in branch/by post versions.
Also, I checked the PDF this morning soon after refluxer posted that YBS had updated their links on the website and the version I looked at earlier hadn't updated any of the online versions of the currently available to open in branch/by post accounts (First Home eSaver, Loyalty Regular eSaver, Online Rainy Day Account Issue 2 and Regular eSaver), but when I looked later it had been altered to update these. I'm thinking they maybe altered these in a hurry and made an error.
As I said just a hunch, but I expect we'll get emails at some point this week so I'll see if my hunch proves right or wrong then.1 -
I couldn't find anything about these on their website either. I'll give them a ring tomorrow around dinner time unless further info appears before then.surreysaver said:Does anyone know where I can find Principality's changes of No Longer Availables? Well spotted and thanks for bringing it to my attention. For now I've updated my post to show the 5.75% Loyalty eSaver as having no change and the branch/post version as reducing to 5.65% in line with the pdf on the BOE Base Rate Change section of their website. I'll of course update it if new info emerges.ni_saver said:

Furness BS Christmas Saver is staying at 6% as far as I can see.

Though AFAIK they haven't announced any rate decreases yet so are still in the ``yet to declare" category, along with Leeds, Nationwide, Bath, Cambridge and Penrith among others.drphila said:Furness BS Christmas Saver is staying at 6% as far as I can see.2 -
I followed the process as outlined here on this MSE Forum:masonic said:DJDools said:
The same happened to me; and there was no way around for the BoS. I couldn't renew it (even though the option was there — it just wouldn't let me renew) and had withdrawn £1,750…So I had to begin again the next qualifying month with the £250 regular SO.granta said:Bank of Scotland Regular Saver - renewal
I've been able to use the 'renewal' process successfully to close and re-open my Lloyds and Halifax regular savers. However, this approach doesn't work for the BoS one. I just keep getting the 'something's gone wrong' page after trying many times on both the Halifax and BoS online pages whilst logged in.
Is this other people's experiences or is there a way around this please? That doesn't sound like the correct process, as you should not need to withdraw anything until you've successfully "upgraded" to an easy access saver. At that point you don't hold a RS, and as far as the system is concerned never did, so you can apply for a new one with or without withdrawing from your upgraded account.Edit: or, as chris_the_bee points out upthread, for BoS you need to fully close the account and wait until the next morning to open a new one.It didn't work for me.0 -
That's what I ended up having to do. So now I have three months left before it matures and only £250 in it. Ah well...granta said:
I can't seem to close or renew it either! So will just start funding it again and wait it out.DJDools said:

That's not a process I have ever used or seen before. It is not the usual method as I understand it. Most people start from step 2, then there is no risk if it doesn't work.DJDools said:
