What's the Skipton RS refresh extension trick? Close account and reopen - but how long does that take typically? Can you close without talking to an agent?0

Virgin Money RS
Opened and funded.Took about 5-10 mins. Already have a current account, so the R/S application pretty much pre-filled all my details. Appeared within moments on the app and funded.0 -

Edit - had another few goes as chat told me to telephone 2mrw, seems to have gone through in the end.

Does anybody knows if they will withdraw the virgin RS if it gets too popular to soon.0

I (an existing VM customer) had this opened and funded in 10 minutes. My partner has decided it would be a good thing to have and has applied for a current account.clowning said:Thank you for the Virgin Money saver info. Opened and funded. My husband even opened a current account to get the saver
First current account application in 40 years, no credit card held for 30, no mortgage for 20.
Virgin have gone away to think about it.0 -
The regular savers linked to current accounts don’t seem to get withdrawn like the good ‘open to all’ building society regular savers but who knows! I guess having to open a new current account might put people off unless you’re an MSE forumite with a penchant for multiple bank accounts 😆[Deleted User] said:Does anybody knows if they will withdraw the virgin RS if it gets too popular to soon.1
