I'm sure the conditions say you have to pay a minimum of £10 into the account every month.

There is the ability to add a 13th payment but at 8% on £200 for just shy of a month only gains an additional £1 in interest over that gained by 12 payments. I don't normally bother.
Of course that's true but it is when the payments 2 to 12 are made up to a month earlier than the mensiversary date of payment 1 that gain more.

What bother is it, when setting up monthly £200 standing orders for a regular saver, to have a specific end date one month later (in order to make 13 payments)?

Hmm my beehive RS matured today, I have to either leave £10 to keep it open or close the account to get all the cash. Any recommendation? Are people keeping it in case a good existing deal comes out?

I've left the £10 in as it seemed to be the quickest option. Can always close it later.

Have you received your money already? I went with close but it said it take 1-2 working days😞

You can withdraw ahead of requesting closure. Withdrawals to external nominated accounts are next working day. Whether that will get you your money any faster remains to be seen. We'll find out tomorrow...

Impressed with Tipton. My RS matured yesterday, my maturity instructions were to close the account and pay the balance to my current account at Santander. Money was there when I logged in at 7am this morning :)

Several efforts to put in the carefully copied code to my phone when aiming to log on - all failed

The account was closed and transferred to me in the middle of the night, but my slight annoyance is that there are no statements (unless something is due in the post?) and the account has now vanished from the app, which somewhat stuffs up my interest spreadsheet. I've deducted the 13 x £500 deposits and the £49-odd interest that I luckily noted from last year so with the remainder it should tally up with an extra £167.95 interest this financial year
