Suffolk BS have now launched an Online 1 Year Variable Rate Regular Saver (30.09.2025) at 5.15% (£500/mth max).
This could be a good one to use for ``getting a foot in the door" so to speak as most of their other accounts have been limited to existing members and those living in certain postcodes.
As you say, it is good to get your foot in the door, to be a qualifying member for any good future accounts they launch.
I have been on this site for around 15 years, and only due to flogging my house in October 22, I started looking into savings when I was between properties.
So thanks again all. Cheers.
Edit. Oh and by the way, I did open and fund Suffolk within 30 mins of your post, cheers.Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.5 -

I'm sure the conditions say you have to pay a minimum of £10 into the account every month.0 -

What bother is it, when setting up monthly £200 standing orders for a regular saver, to have a specific end date one month later (in order to make 13 payments)?

I've left the £10 in as it seemed to be the quickest option. Can always close it later.RE Beehive RSHave you received your money already? I went with close but it said it take 1-2 working days😞0 -

Impressed with Tipton. My RS matured yesterday, my maturity instructions were to close the account and pay the balance to my current account at Santander. Money was there when I logged in at 7am this morning4
