Which of the regular savers credit payments on weekends as 1st is a Saturday. Manual FP's rather than SO
I think NWide, RBS, Natwest are ok.
What about Skipton, Gatehouse, YBS, West Brom, Co-op, Coventry,Principality?

I think YBS, Coventry and Principality all credit payments on 1st when the 1st fall on a weekend.

I’d say Skipton as well but they seem to credit some of my payments a day early they seem to be in a different time zone anyway.

I had Nationwide as one of the ones who don’t? (Also Saffron and Halifax)

    Nationwide
If you have a standing order from your Nationwide current account on the 1st of the month, then it will be paid on this Saturday, 1st of June.

I imagine Lloyds & BOS would be the same?

I'm sure all 3 would show up as 1st in transactions but might be dated 2 days later?

NatWest/RBS don’t credit at weekends. NWide does. Skipton, Gatehouse,YBS, West Brom, Coventry and Principality - yes. Co-op - no.

@Special_Saver2, it looks like the AIB NI regular saver should be on the 'requires another account' list instead, as when checking if suitable it says (my bold):

This is an account designed especially for regular savers, which allows you to save what you want, when you want, and how you want. So if flexibility is important to you, then this account may fit the bill.
When you open an account in branch or online we will ask you for a regular savings instruction to debit between £10 to £500 per month from a AIB (NI) Select Account or Current Account. If you are a new customer or do not already have a suitable account, talk to us about how we can help.

And as you can't open the current or select online you have to visit a branch.
I think how we can help is to make you  appointment to attend branch

Progressive Building Society have their on-line Regular Rainy Day Saver account paying 7% (variable) for existing members and locals (which means those living in Northern Ireland) which takes £20-£300 per month.

However I was unable to register for their on-line access - which requires a separate authenticating app to be downloaded - so I gave up trying. Those braver than me might like to give it a go.

I've just tried also, couldnt get past the ID check stage. Says they will be in touch within 2 days
That came up on my application and they got in touch the next day there was also a phone number available if you wished to contact them.
Before this I was able to login as I had already another account with them and could see the new account and I attempted to make a DC payment but I had not read the terms fully that stated the minimum being £20 and that was what the call was about and the ID check was ok

Principality BS 1 Year Regular Saver Bond (Issue 33) has disappeared from moneyfacts suggesting it will soon go NLA.

To be replaced by Issue 34 at the same rate (5.5%)
Ha my 33 is ending in June 🤣
