jameseonline said:Just cashed out my First Direct Regular Saver £3735.38, so £3600 + £135.38 interest, not bad but not best either, it's advertised as £136.50 interest though, does say based on paying 1st of each month though but yeah.
Still it's better than last year's amount of £3710.44.
Also when did First Direct get push notifications?, took them long enough.0 -

Tried to send them a secure message but it won’t send (have tried on 2 different days now.) Usually it would send on the website but this just throws up an error as soon as I log in.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Close early in case issue 3 is withdrawn before then?I aim to close mine on the 30th.Open a new one on the 31st.Then make a manual payment on the first also. It's a plan.
I tried to set up a future (03/06) dated payment of £250 from the base rate tracker to the my issue 3, but it kept erroring out saying amount is greater than maximum allowed - not sure if it merely requires waiting until June before requesting this transfer, or has issue 3 been programmed to only accept funds on the same date each month? Or should I withdraw it externally and attempt to transfer it in from the linked external bank account?1 -

Edit: Goal being to achieve a transaction date of 1st June despite it being a Saturday, if at all possible.0 -

There’s no restriction requiring funding on the same day each month. I early closed and opened Issue 3 in April when I knew that I would need some of the funds from my Issue 2 that month, and was able to fund on 1st May.1 -

Logged out and back in again using the new password and original unchanged 9-character memorable word and got in fine.1 -

"Members’ Month Loyalty Saver account will be back again this year – it’s available from 1 June.
Full product details will be on our website in June."
Had this in email today from Saffron. Lets hope 8% is the rate.It would be nice to be able to put more than £50 in a month but that, I`m afraid, is wishful thinking!
