Principality BS 1 Year Regular Saver Bond (Issue 33) has disappeared from moneyfacts suggesting it will soon go NLA.

To be replaced by Issue 34 at the same rate (5.5%)

I think I may wait a while on this one. I can get 5.5% already (Skipton Bonus Member saver). It would be beneficial for me if I could defer the start of the fix period for at least 2-3 months.

So just been on Saffron website, no mention of a new Members Month savings account currently:

    https://www.saffronbs.co.uk/membersmonth

But then it's not June yet so we will see.

I'm going to hold off opening this one for now too. I'm going to be using funds from my 5.5% regular savers and the Skipton Member Bonus Saver to fund other regular savers on Saturday and Monday so the account wouldn't get more than the minimum funding from me anyway. Plus I usually get around 8-9 hours notice of PBS pulling their savings accounts, which is sufficient time to open it, so I'll likely delay opening it for as long as possible.

I've already got 5.5% with BOS & Halifax so not sure if I'll get the new Principality just yet.

My current Principality ends on 15th June.

I plan to open another Club Lloyds (6.25%) regular savings account tomorrow, also TSB (6%) & First Direct (7%) are more important for me to open than the new Principality one too.

I may as well be daring, I shall close my Skipton RS manually on 31st May, open and fund a new 7% RS (if still available) the same day, send some of the balance to fund the minimum deposit on the SRBS Regular Saver and the remaining to the Member Bonus Saver.
I plan to do this too, anyone got feelers from Skipton whether the 7% version will survive for another 6 days?
Don't we have a Skipton rep in the forums?
I closed my Skipton Regular Saver manually today - Money paid in to my designated bank account - opened new regular saver and funded - all done in approx 5minutes on the app. Will pay in another £250 beginning of June.

Did exactly the same!  Probably could have waited until tomorrow though, but i wasnt sure if the withdrawal would reach my current account same day, but it did.

Did the same as both of you.
Was worried I could not open and close on same day.

Re: closing and opening Skipton RS (7% Iss3) ..... would you say I have missed the boat this month, being Friday 31st and after 1pm? I ask this as I would have liked to open the new one with a starting deposit in May and then a 2nd deposit 1st June.

What's the feeling of the chance of doing this near the end of June and the rate still being 7%?
