Hi, I'm hoping someone can advise with an issue I'm facing please.

I successfully renewed my Halifax Regular Saver on 28/03/24 to an Everyday Saver through Halifax online banking. All went as planned - I received a payment with the balance and accrued interest which I subsequently transferred to my current account.

I have tried multiple times on the 28th, 29th and today to do the same with my BOS Monthly Saver (I have tried BOS online banking and Halifax online banking), but I keep getting the below error.

    Any advice please?

I don't have a BoS account, but I get this message a lot with Halifax and Lloyds.  It happens every time I try to log in to check all my Reward criteria have been met, and I think every time I've renewed a monthly saver.  Strangely, it normally comes up with that error the first time but works if I log back in immediately and try again.

Anyone know if TSB internal standing orders leave tomorrow or 2nd April?

I have one dated to leave 1st April.

You'll find out tomorrow! But I suspect TSB's computer systems are ancient, so they don't work bank holidays

I'm guessing nothing happens tomorrow because it's still Easter BANK HOLIDAY weekend 🙄😏.

Everything will go back to normal on 2nd April

I took out the Club Lloyds regular saver out last year 5th June at max saving £400 pm. when does the account finish. At the moment from 1st April I have £4400 in the account so my 12th transfer would be 1st May taking it to £4800.
or will I get the chance to do a 13th transfer on 1st June

12 months after opening, over the last 7 years most of the interest payments have been paid the day before the anniversary but a couple were paid on the anniversary
You can make a 13th payment on 1st June

It was few years ago since I used internal SO to fund TSB RS, but if my memory is not failing TSB's SOs don't get processed at weekends. You will know the real answer tomorrow, let us know the result.

I have had the very same problem with the Bank of Scotland renewal. Nothing has worked trying to move money around (short of closing the account which I have not done) so I will just wait until renewal on 2 April. Lloyds and Halifax renewed without any problems. In my vain attempts, one thing I did notice though is the Bank of Scotland account accepted new money yesterday as if it were April's contribution - so potentially there is a few days extra interest on weekends or bank holidays, but maybe not if they calculate interest based on the working day the transaction is logged against. Any willing volunteers to test that and earn/lose a few pennies?!
Having renewed Club Lloyds on Saturday (30 March) and added £400 then, I have found this morning (1 April) when trying to add £400 an error which tells me the payment exceeds the monthly limit. Really been pushing the boundaries of LBG's arcane rules this weekend!

I suspect that as you added £400 on Sat, it wouldn’t be credited to the RS until Tue due to the BH. Therefore you’ve already funded the RS in April.
