I'd agree though that with a £1 minimum deposit and the ability to skip months it is worth opening, though £1 is all they're getting from me for the next few months at least due to my circumstances.many thanks for posting about the speed of EA payments - I was on that exact page of the application when you posted, dithering about whether to fund from nominated account or GH EA... as you say, EA transfer was instant... it seems you can make manual transfers from EA to RS too, so although the t&c says that deposits are only accepted from the nominated account, it looks like internal transfers might be acceptable too for future deposits.1 -

EDIT: Easy to open too, will fund this and then use it to fund RS.0 -

When you open the account, it says that User ID will come in the post in Welcome Letter. This might put you off funding account immediately as you won't be able to see it until the letter arrives.
However, I have just received an email (an hour after opening the account) with User ID. My payment sent an hour ago by FP not showing yet, but it is one of these accounts where you send the payment to a holding account in the name of Gatehouse and it is then allocated to your own account.
Annoying bits, why does the password not allow special characters? And the Captcha required is utterly pointless.
