Oh yes, quite right. And 5.23% APR, better than Metro Bank.gt94sss2 said:
They do. Currently only available for "existing customers" (i.e. you need to be logged in before you can open one)flaneurs_lobster said:
Do Gatehouse still offer an easy access account? Can't see mention on their website.allegro120 said:
Yes, I just did it. Funded from GH easy access. Although it says it can take up to 3 days, funds appeared in new RS account immediately.flaneurs_lobster said:

I see you can carry over payments and miss payments plus min pay in is a £1 so I think it's worth a punt.Bridlington1 said:

I'd agree though that with a £1 minimum deposit and the ability to skip months it is worth opening, though £1 is all they're getting from me for the next few months at least due to my circumstances.
EDIT: Easy to open too, will fund this and then use it to fund RS.0 -

I always thought Captcha's were to prevent robots from signing up to things online. But why would a robot want to open a savings account? Probably an expert could explain it.
Yep, opened and funded inside 10 minutes.Hattie627 said:Gatehouse
When you open the account, it says that User ID will come in the post in Welcome Letter. This might put you off funding account immediately as you won't be able to see it until the letter arrives.
However, I have just received an email (an hour after opening the account) with User ID. My payment sent an hour ago by FP not showing yet, but it is one of these accounts where you send the payment to a holding account in the name of Gatehouse and it is then allocated to your own account.
Annoying bits, why does the password not allow special characters? And the Captcha required is utterly pointless.
I think @Bridlington1 has so many accounts he may well be a robot

I've just looked on the app and the option to transfer from EA to RS is there, so i think you are right. I'll definitely try it for my 2nd payment on Friday.janusdesign said:allegro120 said:

Only need to do it once as you can set up an internal recurring transaction to move the funds monthly on whatever date you stipulate.allegro120 said:

Just to update anyone who was interested in my post above, they have received both depositssurreysaver said:Applied for and opened the Gatehouse Regular Saver.
The reference at the end of the application is different to the reference in the app. If I send £1 to each, I wonder if it will receive both?I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
Passing also, I have the 7% Monmouthshire and YBS with withdrawal(s) available. I’m wary of opening accounts with new providers when I cannot provide ID proofs - between LBG currently unable to provide paper statements and Hanley Economic not returning a document sent to them, I don’t have originals I can send currently.

I set up a scheduled transfer from EA to RS, via the app, for 1st December, but didn't notice a recurring option. Will take another look now, thanks 👍Wheres_My_Cashback said:

As a happy existing Gatehouse customer, I have given it a go. Very easy application, instant opening and just took about 90 mins for a £300 FP to be confirmed by email as deposited. Set up an external Bank SO, 1st Dec to 1st Nov, so not long to wait to see if that got set up correctly

Thanks for the heads up on this one.Compiler of the RS League Table.

FD will do it for you automatically. They will also set up a new standing order when you open new RS.janusdesign said:wiseonesomeofthetime said:
