I will pass as well only for the reason i really don't want to open up anymore accounts with new (for me) providers. Yep, my loss.

Currently, for accounts paying less than 7% they have to be instant access. 7% is currently my cut-off point for putting money awaypecunianonolet said:Will give this a miss, not being able to withdraw is a no go for me. Sad as it is a good rate imhoI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2 -
Open and funded Gatehouse immediately with £300, S/O set for the 1st and 13 payments should be possible as no MAX balance stipulated.
However, do Gatehouse allocate funds as paid in on a weekend and allocate interest?
I'm New to Gatehouse, Login ID received within 10 mins and account showing as active, payment not yet allocated though and will not expect to see it until after 1300.
Interesting that the payment ref to allocate funds isn't actually the account number, that's a new one on me.
Easy Access saver also opened as a back up a/c as quite happy with my Santander 5.20%.
ETA: Both account deposits showing by 1301.3 -
Yes, I just did it. Funded from GH easy access. Although it says it can take up to 3 days, funds appeared in new RS account immediately.flaneurs_lobster said:
Will it be possible to open and fund before end of November?Bridlington1 said:
You can't carry over payments from previous months. From the terms:trickydicky14 said:
I see you can carry over payments and miss payments plus min pay in is a £1 so I think it's worth a punt.Bridlington1 said:
Worth noting that although the rate is variable, no withdrawals/closure are allowed until the end of the term, unless the rate is reduced.pokemaster said:Gatehouse Bank Regular Saver 7% (paid at maturity)£300 Max Per Month pay inSource: Money Facts
I'd agree though that with a £1 minimum deposit and the ability to skip months it is worth opening, though £1 is all they're getting from me for the next few months at least due to my circumstances.3 -
Yes you can as long as the SO is from your nominated account.subjecttocontract said:Can you fund the account by standing order ?
Didn't see any mention of it in the notes.1 -

Do Gatehouse still offer an easy access account? Can't see mention on their website.allegro120 said:

They do. Currently only available for "existing customers" (i.e. you need to be logged in before you can open one)flaneurs_lobster said:

If you are an existing customer, it appears that you can still apply, once logged in.flaneurs_lobster said:
