I got an email timed at 13.09 thanking me for the deposit and it's now showing on the account.

If you send a deposit in the morning, you will get acknowledgement shortly after 1pm. If you send it later, you get acknowledgement shortly after 8am the following morningGers said:SickGroove said:Anyone elses standing order from today not yet appeared in their new Gatehouse Regular Saver. Just opened mine online and was very promptly opened, as always with CBS. So it may have been a temporary issue.drphila said:Having a problem logging in to Coventry (not receiving text or automated call) to open loyalty RS.Called them and they say the system is very busy at the moment maybe that's reason.Anyway opened account over the phone which was a simple 5 min process.
Yes I think it was probably to do with the 3 outages today

Coventry RS maturity closure - how long to hit an external account please?
Initiated it this morning on maturity and no sign today yet.
Anyone any experience please?
It's a Nationwide account0 -
Coventry like YBS take until next working day for withdrawls to arrive in external account. So will pay into Nationwide on Monday. Expect mid morning.

Gatehouse. Transferred £300 from EA to RS and the message said that it will be transferred tomorrow, but few minutes later the money appeared in RS.allegro120 said:
Yes I think it's a general one to reiterate that you can only transact with the nominated account, they probably didn't think about including internal transfer option in description. I will attempt my second payment by internal transfer tomorrow.Digital_Payback said:
I did an internal transfer. It went across fine and shows up in the new regular account.BestSeagull said:T&C say the Gatehouse account can only be funded from the nominated account. Do we think they won't mind it coming from an internal transfer?
"You can fund your account via bank transfer or cheque, only from your nominated account."
Just wondering if I can get away with opening the account and funding with an internal transfer this late in the day?
ETA I just tried to transfer from one account to another internally and the date of transfer is pre-populated with tomorrow's date. I'm not going to risk an external transfer in getting there in time so I'll just wait and open the account tomorrow.,The instructions about funding the account is, I think, a general one. It would be a bit petty to stop an internal transfer. Sure it’s actually locking your money away for 12 months with Gatehouse while the other account didn’t, but I will wait and see what happens.I did the same this morning, but...I sent a secure message to Gatehouse on Wednesday checking whether it was acceptable to fund future deposits via a Gatehouse EA internal transfer and tonight I had a reply...Thank you for your secure message of 29 November.will be interesting to see if the internal transfer bounces back to EA next week - I doubt it will.
I am afraid as stated all deposits to our new regular saver account after the initial payment must come from your nominated account.

Me too. Be good if they do allow it - my regular funder bank doesn't allow you to hold multiple payee details with the same sort code/account no.janusdesign said:allegro120 said:

I opened a RS and an Easy Access saver on Wednesday and funded the RS with £300 by external bank transfer. On Thursday I paid in £300 to the Easy access saver and then on Friday I did an internal transfer on the app of the £300 to the RS. It showed in the RS shortly afterwards and is still in there nowjanusdesign said:allegro120 said:
