Managed to get my order in for hifi bars. I used to buy 2 packs a week and built up a bit of a stash, which has now dwindled right down, with eating 2 bars most days as my HEb. Ordered 10 packs total, 3 different flavours, should keep me going for at least this month. I guess to justify the free p&p there is a minimum order, which is fair enough.
Just opened the kilo pack of chicken breasts I bought for my son from Sainsb on Tuesday, bb date 5 April, they smell off. Tried the phone number on website for instore purchase, but you just get lots of recorded messages and no one actually answering your call. Then a survey asking your opinion asking how they did, had to give them 000s. Guess another visit back to store then for refund, a new pack and might as well get more stuff whilst I am there. *frustrated*

Afternoon all
PIB hope you get chicken sorted, i bought some pork from Morrisons last year and when i opened it ti stunk! i rang them up and didnt even have to take it back and was allowed to just go and pick a piece , it was a bit bigger than i had paid for and told them this but didn't have to pay the difference
Well i went and got my tyres what a bloody performance!! certainly wont be using them again, only went there because my normal one was shut, then on the way back got a phonecall from one of my clients daughters , he passed away this morningbut cancer not corona , but only one of his daughters could be there as the other one in isolation (he died at home) so what a morning!

Sorry to hear that bubbs.
beanie phone up the store you bought it from, they should at least refund you what it cost or alternatively replace it. I know that Mr Ts usually send you a voucher to use next time you go shopping and don't usually replace it.

afternoon all,
belated birthday greetings Denise I hope you had a good day despite the odd times.Unfortunately I seem to have developed COVID19 symptoms over the past couple of days, so I am currently trying to stay separate from the rest of the house as much as I can. I feel rough, but not nearly as horrendous as I thought I might (so far). Have been eating what I can easily grab without touching too much in the kitchen. Harder than you think to do that, and appetite is a bit off anyway.
I hope you all continue to stay virus free, and will try to keep checking in with you, just very tired all day at the mo.I’m lucky I have 2 more MrT deliveries to come this & next week. No more available after that, but should hopefully be over the worse of this and not contagious by then. Not really sure as the guidance out there is conflicting and most unconfirmed. Haven’t been out of the house since 20th March and still caught it, but boss at work was still allowing face to face client contact up until last week! Outrageous disregard for safety, but he’s a complete kn0b, so shouldn’t have been surprised. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home3 -
Take care sary
xx

Sorry to hear that Sary. You need to self isolate for 7 days and the rest of the family should isolate for 14 days unless they develop symptoms in which case it will be 7 days from when they start the symptoms. Hope that makes sense. If not have a look at the government advice online.
Can't believe your boss was allowing face to face contact until last week, that's contrary to what the government were saying. Did he not here about social distancing?
Keep safe and look after yourself.
Have just had dinner and the Normandy pork was lovely. It was one I cooked a while ago and just needed to add the creme fraische to it and some mustard, plus a little cornflour to thicken the sauce.

Sorry about idiot boss Sary, sad news Bubbs & belated happy birthday Denise.
The country is in lockdown and I am running to catch up with myself I am so busy, still in office so maintaining routine.
Weighed this evening, having shovelled everything in sight into my mouth on Saturday, I behaved impeccably since, made easier by there being speed available to buy, so very happy with 1lb loss. At least I can manage myself in the absence of group, although my consultant has just sent me the zoom details for this evening, so will join in.
Keep safe everyoneA smile costs little but creates much4 -
