Happy belated birthday denise . And trust bubbs to get us all drooling with an April fools  :D .

Had my first ever SW Zoom meeting yesterday, 18 of us! Did it on my iPad, so had 2 screens of 9 people. Might try it on the desktop next week, it has a bigger screen, so may be able to see everyone at once then. And in the meantime, yesterday weighing at home first thing with no clothes on (sorry if TMI  :p) I reached my target! I realise it will be different on the official scales, but think I have enough time before we go back to Group to lose a bit more to make up any discrepancy  ;). Keeping quite busy here, with OH working from home and DS and DD home from uni, including their toilet roll and pasta supplies  :D. I live in a tiny village with a lot of older folk, so have been doing lots of emailing/leaflet dropping to make sure anyone who has to stay indoors has someone to drop off milk/groceries/prescriptions. Managed to set up a milk delivery for ourselves, as milk consumption is back upto 4pts/day with the youngsters eating cereal every morning. And with the best will in the world, I cannot buy enough milk in one go to last a whole week.

Picking up a bigger slowcooker from Argos next time I am in Sainsb, my old one is only 2.5l which was ok for 2 of us, but could definitely do with a bigger one for 4 of us.

Hope you are all staying safe and eating well. I am out of eggs, so ringing local farm next to see if he has any today  B).

Well done on target, you are a wonder woman how much you have lost and in a short space of time :D
Can you still order in sains from argos? thought it was delivery only? as i need a new microwave, mine is on the blink and want to pay with points but of course i can't log in online 🤬
    Hope you get your eggs!

Well done on getting to target PIB. You'll look super in your next Zoom meeting. You must dress up extra glamorous. 😁

Thanks for the April Fool bubbs. 😂🤣😂🤣
I think I fell for it because last night I watched a programme about Waitrose and they showed chocolate Scotch eggs. Yuk! 😕

We had a  very productive walk today. Called in to a little Coop and bought eggs and a little Sainsburys and got porage oats. We were passing them anyway so no unnecessary journey involved. We've decided to do our main shop tomorrow at the same time as we did last week and hope Aldi will be as quiet and well stocked as before. 😁

I suspect my appointment will also be cancelled but the blood test needed to be done anyway to check my calcium levels.  So with that information at least the Dr can see whether the op was successful.

Thanks bubbs, maman, beanie  :smiley:Bubbs you cannot order in store, you have to order online and can then pick up from store or pay for delivery. Was nice and quiet when I went in about 6pm. Never got my eggs, perhaps tomorrow. Had the Bacon, bns and sweet potato stew from the SW app tonight. Really tasty and so simple to make.

Also had notification from tomorrow we can order hifi bars, books and the SW magazine online, with no p&p for the moment. Upto 10 boxes per month, same prices as in group. Can’t wait  :D.

Morning all, another bright morning although the forecast is to be colder.  It felt quite warm while I was hanging my washing on the line.  So it was WI this morning and even after my birthday excesses I've actually lost 2lb!!!  I think what I should have lost last week and didn't has caught up this week (only STS last week after a pretty good week).

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - avocado, prawns, salad - P; S; 7
D - Normandy pork (from freezer - just need to add some creme fraische, mustard and cornflour), mash, cabbage & green beans - P; S; 1

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 8 as above

Have a good day everyone and keep safe.

    Denise

PS Just been online and the Shop is now open for Hifi bars & books if anyone is interested.  You have to buy either a pack of 5 or 10 boxes of any flavour of hihi's - seems a lot to me, I'd never buy that many in one go.

Ooh your lunch sounds lovely denise.  I was lucky to get my birthday meal in just before the restaurants all closed down. They do a prawn cocktail in a sort of stack with avocado fanned around the base and all on a bed of leaves. It's delicious. DH's birthday isn't until September so we may be able to go out again by then!

Our beef dinner was really lovely last night. I usually just eat up LO meat for my lunches or syn free snacking but I thought I ought to be a bit more careful. I just reheated the meat in gravy and used up lots of bits of veg from last weeks shop. I'd certainly do it again. We're off to do our food shop this afternoon as we found it quiet last Thursday.

    Today's EE plan-
B-NAS grapefruit (F), bacon, egg (P) HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), beetroot (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- None planned

Lunch was lovely, although DH's avocado was overripe and pretty tasteless unfortunately.  DH's birthday is early May so not looking likely for us to go out to eat for his either.  Still got fillet steaks in the freezer so suspect we'll just have a steak dinner again then.

My veg box hasn't arrived yet so not sure what I'm going to get as after emailing to say what was going to be in it we got another email yesterday to say the cauliflower was 3 times the price of last week so I'm assuming we won't be getting that - it will probably be yet another cabbage and I've still got last week's in the fridge plus a piece from the week before which we'll be having tonight to use it up.  Was really hoping for the cauliflower this week as wanted to make a cauliflower cheese!  Their email said there's plenty of chickweed available, don't particularly want more of it but if I do then I'll make some more of the bubble and squeak type patties and freeze them.
