The way things are Abbafan all we can do in the circumstances is to be good when we can and careful when we can't!  But I know what you mean.

I've had a "go" at a plan for the next week or so now that I know what veg I've got coming on Thursday.  I've got a basket of shopping for an Iceland shop ready just waiting to see if I can get a delivery slot for the following week - they're only showing dates up to 3 April and no slots available.  I'm OK for another week or so after that but would really like to get a slot towards the end of the following week, say 8th or 9th but to be quite honest not sure I'll be able to but if not I'll just have to chance another shop, even though I'd rather not, especially as I suffer from COPD and I'm late 60s so really would rather stay indoors for as long as possible, apart from going for the occasional walk on the local beach where there's virtually no one around so easy to keep plenty of space between us, well over the recommended 2m.

Try and do your best and keep in touch on here.  Should be a bit easier if you're now not working as you'll have more time to fill!

Oh dear no slimmer of the week unless beanilou lost some?  GTQ I wasn't sure if you wanted a +2, and I don't think I have missed tweets or matron midge. I was surprised I lost with the chocs, but we were doing a Boris walk most days as social life on hold. Tried to get tena products for aged mother, bit like loo roll, empty shelves. Not liking the q'ing to get in the stores and having to plan 7 days of mains and suppers.
Thanks Chieveley, I will go with the +2 , as I said, it will be a starting point going forward.

Chievely looking at the chart it seems to me that you are our SOTW as so many people haven't actually reported their losses, possibly because a lot aren't weighing at the moment.  So congratulations!

Have totted up my Syns used and I'm definitely back on track with syns, in fact I've still got 48 left for 3 days but not planning on using that many as would really like to see a loss this week so going to try and stick to less than 10 a day!

    Today's plan:

B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit, FF Greek yoghurt - HEB; S; P; F - skinny syrup & sweetener
    L - Leek & potato soup - S; F
    D - Eggs, beans, mushrooms & chickweed patties (sort of bubble & squeak!) - HEA2; P; S; F; 0.5

    HEA - milk
    HEA2 - feta
    HEB - oats
Syns - flour 0.5; definitely felt picky in the evenings recently so if I do today perhaps a couple of biscuits (as I've got the Syns to spare, LOL!)

    Stay safe everyone.

Sorry Chievely, I haven’t weighed in as there are no classes at the moment. I am trying to be as on plan as I can be though and using Maman’s clean jeans test to keep me focused.
tonight we are having the satay burgers form 2CCs book. A new recipe to us so looking forwards to that. We had their lamb and halloumi meatballs and spaghetti yesterday and that was delish.
    keep ploding on everyone.

Good to see you posting abbafan. This thread is as good as any virtual group so stick around with us ….and it's free!

I think those of us who are used to cooking from scratch because of SW and mse are ahead of the game. It was shocking to see those photos of wasted food yesterday.

We did our daily walk to Sainsbury's this morning. I did buy some bread but it was mainly to give us a focus. No eggs though. :disappointed:

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), ham, scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), fried potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D-  baked salmon (P), SW chips (F) cauli steak, broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns- HP sauce (1)

I've managed to get a delivery slot for tomorrow afternoon so at least have some decent food coming, including salad - no eggs though but I have ordered some to come with my veg box on Thursday so should be OK until my next veg box 2 weeks later.
