Oh happy holidays Denise  safe  trip x
You reminded me of my sister then with your beans, she has got really fussy with her foods touching each other, she never used to be as bad as that but this can't touch this and that but since she has been on her own she is very OCD
I did them on george tete but have done under the grill before, i have never had halloumi so cant comment on that

Good to see you posting sary. You do so well when you're focussed. How's your colleague at work doing?

I'm yet another who finds the new site absolute carp. I've found a way to use it on my desktop ad my phone (it behaves differently depending on the device) but so many of the old features are missing and there seems to be little or no communication from mse.

It's strange how we have our food fads. I love tomatoes but I just couldn't eat tinned ones on a plate like bubbs' breakfast this morning. Far too wet and sloppy for me. I always bypass them in hotels. I love fresh ones grilled, roasted or raw and use tinned ones regularly in cooking but whole, tinned ones. Ugh!!

We're out for lunch today. It's a pub I've not been to before and the online menu just looks like traditional basic pub food. Hopefully there'll be some specials or choices of sides or something SW friendly. I've had my lightest SW breakfast (Weetabix) so all I can do now is hope for the best.

Have a lovely holiday denise. Do post when you can and tell us where you are so we can travel around virtually. :D

Bon voyage Denise!  Have a lovely time :)
Looks like Beanie and I are hitching back on the wagon together, I'll try to budge up and make room, but my bum is a bit bigger than it was ;)

Maman thank you for the kind comments.  I can do this, and the key is to be focused, as you say.  My colleague had a bit of a bumpy start, but I'm delighted to say she got her 1stone award last week.  We talk food a LOT, especially healthy stuff, and she's experimenting with recipes from a couple of the SW recipe books, which she kindly let me photocopy ones I like the look of, so I've really no excuse.  Having a SW buddy sat opposite me is very helpful, and she's inspired me to keep at it.

    Plan today:
    B - peach quark (1)
L - porridge HEB, apple slices, sugar (2), milk from HEA & water
snack - SF jelly (1), strawberries, mango & cream (3)
D - stuffed chicken breast, cheese HEA2, SW fries, mushrooms, peas, broccoli
Rest of HEA1 - milk in drinks

There we go, Day 2 on plan.  Here's my own yay smilie:  ٩(^ᴗ^)۶
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Halloumi griddles really well.  I love it done on the barbie along with loads of pepper, onions & tomatoes.

You might as well just do Green days Tete while you're eating veggie, but a good idea to also stick to EE principle of 1/3 Speed although you don't actually need too but think it can be a bit carb heavy if you don't!

Thanks for the "good holiday" messages everyone!

Sary I've not seen peach quark.  Where did you buy that?  Not sure whether I'd like it though as not keen on the strawberry one but it sounds nice.

I'm like you Maman with regard to tinned tomatoes.  Use loads in cooking but couldn't eat them on the plate like Bubbs' breakfast picture.  I usually have grilled tomatoes with my breakfast.

Glad to see beanie and sary back on board!  :). Beanie, hope your group will be supportive and sary, hopefully you and your colleague can spur each other on *thumbs up*.

Denise hope you have a fab time in France. The baguettes and brie would get the better of me  :p .

Bubbs fab to see you are home and back to posting pix of your food for us to drool over  ;) .

Reporting in with a STS this week after WI, sooooo frustrating. But the good news is I got Greatest Loser in group  so am trying to feel proud of that. I think I will eat more carbs this week to try and shake things up, have not been having many for a long time but want to lose another 1.5lbs to get to Target. Eating chocolate at the mo to celebrate, but recording all syns to even things out over the week. I will get there!!!  Good luck everyone else this week xx

The baguettes, brie and red wine get the better of me when we're in France - along with the croissants, pain aux raison & pain chocolat!  As well as all the other fantastic cheeses and pates!

That's why I never go back to group for at least 1 or 2 weeks after my holiday, LOL!  I come back on a Thursday so will obviously miss that day, also the following Thursday so by the following Thursday that will be 2 weeks after my holiday and that will be the earliest I'll go to WI and then only if I'm in target range or perhaps 1/2lb out!

Well done PIB. Greatest Loser!! WOW!!

I often roast tomatoes denise. I put them in the oven, often with mushrooms, for the last 15 minutes or so when I'm doing chips.

The pub lunch wasn't ordinary at all. They had plenty of specials and I enjoyed the meal although not as SW friendly as I'd have liked. Nobody was having starters so I had plaice, spinach and new potatoes with a sort of salsa. It was good but liberally drizzled with oil. When everyone else was stuffing profiteroles and bread & butter pudding I had a cheese board. I enjoyed it and some will be HEA but I'm still feeling full.
No wine syns as I'm out this evening and driving. I might have a snack when I get home later but otherwise I think I've eaten enough for today.
