Hi All
We are back on the treking trail again today after a couple of days of dodging showers, 2 miles for the first walk, only just over half a mile for the second as Dad was talking to Isla's Mum while we were playing 6 miles for our 10am walk and although it was cool enough when we were down by the river and in the trees, it got really hot on the way home as we were exposed to the sunshine all the way.
Now I need to persuade Dad to take me to the park to watch the boys at the football, I suppose he could have some lunch first but I am ready to go right now.

Morning, all tests came back negative, which is great. Can't get a sick note for DS's GF as she has to self-certificate for a week but her manager isn't happy and wants her in work tomorrow. The manager is phoning today so we shall see what happens.
I got 3/4 courses done and passed them yesterday as there is a test to do after reading the gumph on them. Today I am off out food shopping as working the next 3 days if I am not canceled.
I hope you got to watch the boys play football Duncan and enjoyed your other walks.
Did you get out for another walk yesterday leanfun, it was very hot here yesterday and I never went out of the house,lol
Hope the weather is better for you ff, no showers to get caught in. I am sure showers wait for me to go out as they seem to appear as soon as I walk out the door, lol.

Morning all.   Our Wifi went down yesterday afternoon and the TV but phone was ok.  WiFi is back now.    It was very hot but in the evening we did manage a walk I called in a corner shop for some bread.  Oh and bought some ice cream.  The first we have had this summer.  We had dinner really late out in the garden.  Today is going to be hotter here 35 degrees forecast we might have to go out in the air conditioned car.    You sound well organised for the heat FireFly.  

Indie sorry to hear your DS’s GF is having grief with work.  She can’t work on crutches and it must still be very painful. Hope you have a bit of a rest after shopping today.
Duncan hope you enjoy your works today. 
just thought it’s Friday again today. Hope all have a good weekend.

Tell the girls boss that she cant walk and will not be working for at least a week, if she gives them the chance they will take it forever.
I got lots of football on our evening walk, Dad let me watch all the boys and girls do their training and I even got to catch a ball that was kicked straight to us, Dad gave it back to the coach though still, we were there for about 45 minutes before I was dragged kicking and screaming through the trees to a different part of the park.
Shopping by car today so I am getting left at home, Dad will be bringing some honey home from Lidl so I can look forward to some frozen treats later.
It must be quite high UV levels already here as Dad has had to put cream on his solar panel (head) before 9am, I wonder if I should put some cream on as well as my skin itches like the devil when it is sunny.
Ah well must take Dad another walk before he goes to the shop.

Good Morning Saturday.
Nothing in the sky except the moon this morning so looks like being a hot one again
Another Freegler coming to collect something this morning but Dad has already said that he will leave it in a bag at the front door just in case I have taken him out walking, I was thinking about going down to the coast but it would probably be too busy so we will leave that for a weekday, we will probably try to find a path down by the river that Dad has been looking for unsuccessfully for a few years.

Good Morning All
A bit cooler here today with an east wind blowing the clouds about.
FF, the trip to the coast was not for the beach, we have a path that goes all the way round the coast of Fife and Dad was going to just walk down to that then along for a few miles and back again a different route, about 15 miles round trip, it will keep for the next midweek dry spell
We still did not find the start of that riverside path yesterday, may have to try to find access at the next village and work backwards.
Another trip to the shop this morning for more fruit, Dad is really taking this weight loss thing serious this time, he did not even have any dinner last night, just a cup of hot chocolate, a bit of cheese and a couple of plums.
He was mumbling something about the garden during our first walk but I was too busy sniffing out rabbits.

Morning.  Very hot here still. Too hot to do anything.  

Duncan’s Dad well done with the trying to loose weight.  Here we are eating better and smaller portions but not doing the exercise.  We were just beginning to get into it when the virus struck.  DH had a fall nearly two years ago and still has a painful muscle in his leg but it is much better than it was.  We too had some juicy plums yesterday. 
Not a lot we can do in this heat. But it will cool down in the week.   We might try going for a drive in the air conditioned car.

Indie hope DS’s girl friend has been able to sort things with work.  She needs time for her knee to heal.  Pleased all your tests were negative and you made excellent headway with your studies.  Hope it’s not too exhausting at work. Are you still in lockdown?

Morning, i was working today and tomorrow but was canceled so have a couple of extra days off. No we are not in lockdown at the moment but they are letting visitors come for an hour visit with their loved one again. The first woman that came in was told all the rules about distancing ect and the first thing she did was go up to her husband and kiss and cuddle him. When told off she said the staff was lying ect.so if families carry on like this we will be in lockdown again soon. I do feel sorry for some of them, not having visitors ect but this lady phones her hubby 3-4 times a day and is always on the iPad having face time with him so it wasn't like they had not had any contact. Oh well, time will tell. It is another hot day here so quite glad I am not working as it's hell in this heat and wearing a mask all day doesn't help. I have watered the plants and going to hang some washing out now.

Forgot to mention son's GF. She had to go into work yesterday for 4 hours and was sitting down, but son's just called me, her foot is swollen so i am taking her back to the hospital now. Give update later.
