Morning.   Indie we had the same as you yesterday, so hot.  It’s rained in the night here so feels a lot cooler this morning.  We didn’t see any flying ants either.   I meant to ask DS last night when he phoned.  Yesterday my friend’s daughter came around and we sat in the shade in the garden and we had a natter.

Afternoon, we have had rain here it started around 6 and eased off, just showers now.  It is much cooler here now as well. More bearable.I have the dinner on Roast lamb today, with all the trimmings and mint from the garden. Thought i would do a few comps whilst waiting for it to cook.I hope your all having a good day

Well done on your wins FireFly great to win something for yourself and for the dog rescue centre they will be pleased. 

Asked DS yesterday and he had not seen any flying ants either.

Good Morning all
A bit of a weekend was had at this end so not on here much.
Well done on the win fire**fly, I eat dog food
Dad almost got blown up on Sat morning in the shower when it went fizz-bang after water got into the electrics, there was a whiff of singed wires all through the house all day.
He managed to get a new one locally and then spent most of the rest of the day fitting it, learning how to be a plumber and electrician along the way.
Hoping for a quiet week with plenty of walks no matter what the weather.

Morning, well done on the wins ff, the rescue centre will be pleased to take the dog food off your hands. How strange that we haven't seen any flying ants as of yet. I mentioned it to my DS and he said "don't want to see any thanks" lol.
wow Duncan, you have had an eventful weekend. Glad your dad wasn't hurt after the fizz bang. Hope the new shower is ok.
I am taking DS to the hospital later as he has a barium test, hopefully that will show up nothing as well but you can never tell.

So glad that the food will not go to waste ff, I know how much they go through in a day at the rescue centres, I just used my credit card and bought a 12kg bag anyway and Dad collected it on Friday when he was out with the car.
The new shower is a little bit squint on the wall but otherwise in perfect working order, Dad showers twice a day so he had to get it working 🛀
Lovely evening here now and we will be going out soonly for our sixth and last walk of the day, it will take us over 10 miles today, Dad is trying to do extra again to get back up to a level that he was at this time last year to help get his weight down again.

if i can't use it for our home will always try to get it a good home where it will help whatever if i can,

G'morning all

I have my own savings account as well fire**fly, Dad set it up to cover any vet bills after the insurance company stiffed him on his very first claim.

Very sunny morning here, a good day for a walk to the shop.
Not much else planned, I think Dad has a bit of tidying up in the garden to do ahead of the brown bin collection tomorrow, I will watch him from the window to make sure that he does not miss anything
