Well that's it. Hallway done. I have also re-cabletied the router wire so that the coil tucks behind the console table so much tidier. Need to empty the vacuum and then put the bin out as the bin men arrive early on black bin day.

Good evening 😁
I managed to empty some compost, and used my trolley to take 2 trug loads to the allotment - it was very heavy! I spent an hour or so down there laying a woodchip path. I couldn't do much else as half of it is under water! Never mind - it will dry out eventually, and it is only the allotment and not my home so I can count my blessings.
Back home I had lunch, emptied the TD, put on the DW, emptied the food bin and did a food shop.
Back to work tomorrow. I think we can spend the morning at soft play as the boys will have energy and the weather looks wet again.
Hugs to those that need them, especially ASB. Be kind to yourself!
Night night all!9 -

So much for flying yesterday. Started well but then the day went pear shaped. DD1 sent me a text to say that the windscreen wipers had stopped working on her car and yes it is pouring with rain. It had failed completely when she came out of work at one in the morning, having started at 9.00 in the morning so she wasn't happy and had to be back in for 9.00 the next morning (the joy of being a student doctor). Typical this happens when, I'm working miles away today all day, DD2 is home and needs a car today to go to the dentist and my go to friends are away. So after much debating and messages managed to borrow a car for DD2 so DD1 has mine, I have OH's and he has got his 'toy' out of the garage. How serious does he look drying a convertible sports car in the pouring rain, when he has a very nice sensible company car! But breathe again now. So went out for dinner with DD1 last night when we swopped cars, she was very tired and stressed but a decent meal and dose of family time seems to have put her back on an even keel.
Better dash off to work to earn some pennies to pay for repairs
Bed made, clothes picked up.
Coffee drunk, but will need more.
Fortunately no evening work tonight

Hope you are still dry, Dizzy xx
Just the bare necessities being done here - make the bed / feed the birds / put out the rubbish & recycling... it keeps things ticking over while I concentrate my spoons on the paid stuff
Much love to you all

Morning all,
determined to be positive today. About to make a spag bol, the kids have been on lazy meals for way too long. Then email my boss about my pay, then go and clean for a friend (easy £25). All with four kids in tow (on babysitting duty for my nephews all day, wish me luck)

Morning all,
Lots of (hugs), ASB, wise words from the others x
Busy yesterday, then with a good dose of cba once I finally sat down in the evening. Today is no work, but obviously I was awake for the usual work time. I eventually prised myself out of bed and have WULTD, wm x 2, HHI and emptied the dw. I need to vacuum but also have some shelves to paint. As doing these will mean that DH will have to tackle another job, and the vacuum cleaning can wait, I am going for shelf painting. Out later to take DD into town so I will nip into the sm and pick up essentials. As I made it to the f&v market early yesterday, all those bits are off my list already.
Off to brave the gales and rain to find the paintbrushes from the shed. Very jealous of you, GI - I can’t set foot at my allotment yet.10 -
Morning all. Popped the dogs in the car to take them somewhere nice for a walk between shifts and the heavens opened, so we had a short drive. Roads wet and horrendous.
Back now. We'll play soft ball and then I'll see what flying I can fit in.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
