Morning (smiley wave)
Definitely in flylady mode this morning as I brought down the laundry hamper and sorted the washing in to loads whilst the kettle was boiling for my morning brew. Set first load swishing before I came through to sup said brew and catch up with fb and fred
Life is a little more complicated now Dad is home again. He told me not to pop in after work yesterday, then, when I didn't pop in, he phoned me to ask why I hadn't popped!!!! So I'm popping today insteadBarbara flies home on Friday - he should perk up again then.
Well done on the job Kaz xx
Hugs, sticks and spoons are by the door - feel free to help yourselves as required
Let's get this show on the road::
Round 1 =
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put out rubbish and recycling
unload WM and drape on radiators / airer
set 2nd load swishing
WUDUPA
breakfast
Take care

I then spent an hour chilling waiting for DS to come to collect his little doogie who we have babysat for 4 days while they have their last break away together before grandbaby arrives.
Yesterday evening was a reunion of old work colleagues for one of them's birthday so I need to declutter some of the additional pounds I put on last night.
Plan for today
Update pots (Finances, and yes I am old school and take out cash every month to divide into pots for different things)
Meet a friend for lunch
Shopping - need new white T-shirts (does anyone else but new ones most years?) and dog food
Tidy paperwork in my work/play room including completing paperwork for Mondays start
Find certificates
Clean living rooms
I think that's it for now so hope you all have a happy and productive day
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!8 -
Morning all,
Firmly wearing the flylady hat this morning, along with Round.
HHI done, wm run and washing hanging up, WULTD. DH is finishing the shelf painting, even though it was on my list to do, so I am going to run the vacuum cleaner around the bedroom. Upstairs is a pit, due to DH messy diy working. Once he has done the painting (and apparently got a medal for doing so....), I need to make some headways into the carp lying around. It is clear that DH has an attraction to any clear surface, in that he must fill it. I’m on a mission, but I'm not sure how successful I will be.
I still have a ton of paperwork to do - it didn't happen last night, as spending all day peering at spreadsheets doesn’t put me in the mood for doing the same at home.
I'm taking DD to the stables later. DH is muttering “rugby” as if that is some kind of excuse for him for the afternoon.
Hope YL is ok. X10 -
Round 1 completed + second WM load swished and now on airer. 3rd load is swishing
Kitchen S&Sed including cooker top.
Going to 'pop' to Dad's now - then call at Mr C00p. Having coffee with L at 2.
ooops change of plan - DS has gone to see my Dad (he's been asked to pop too lol) so I'll call later; probably after coffee with L. See I can do 'spontaneous change of plan' now too
Straight to Mr C then
Rxx

Update from me. Lamb is in the slow cooker, cooker is clean on the outside, house quickly hoovered through and I've had a second lovely walk with the dogs. Bit blowy though. It was difficult staying upright at times and my face is still freezing.Spend less now, work less later.10

Bedlinen changed; clean stuff on, dirty stuff in WM as I type.Bessie went home on Tuesday, Suzie arrived on Thursday, so a quieter dog to look after right now.Feels like I'm kind of burned out; I now have to monitor, keep on top of the ordering of, and dish out, a total of 16 prescription items between the 2 of us (9 for me and 7 for Mr Wolf) and I'm terrified I'll do it wrong one of these days.Could use a holiday; we have one booked in September. Could do with even a weekend away, but can't face the stress of actually trying to find somewhere wheelchair-friendly and book it. Catch 22, really. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)11
