Finding finding Landowner of a property is relatively easy. For a piece of land much harder
Have to get a map to scale and draw boundaries
None of the businesses are prepared to give up the name all citing Data Protection , despite telling them it is covered by law if there is a court claim !No wonder these guys thrive0 -
State that the name of a company is not private data and is not covered by the DPA2018.0

£3 - I paid last week (not for a parking relate issue!)MistyZ said:Is one of the shops Strachans Chemist? If so, just phone them and ask who the landowner is there. I've found the landowner of a car park that way.
But yes, Land Registry will tell you who the landowner is for under a fiver.0 -
No one is prepared to give up the information ,even after explaining that it is not illegal as it in relation to a court claim ! Wimps all .Scared of the Landowner who has asked them all to keep quiet .
Want to start writing appeal but may have to rely on old delivery note and look at signage again .
One shopkeeper said that he is prepared to write a note saying that many drivers are being caught out by the faulty ANPR cameras . However that is not too helpful !

One shopkeeper said that he is prepared to write a note saying that many drivers are being caught out by the faulty ANPR cameras . However that is not too helpful !It actually is. He is offering a Witness Statement to be provided to the court.
The National Standard for ANPR accuracy is 98% read and 95% conversion to characters (say the DVLA). So if they are saying that it is less than 95%, then there is the hint of manual intervention - and the fallout from that.

CE will discontinue close to the hearing date.
If you are really exorcised about this, then put in a claim (aka counterclaim) for the misuse of data. There is already a transcript of a case where they had to pay out. AFAK it was Bargepole that provided the ammunition. Add in the landowner for the "counterclaim" for fun and erudition.1 -

But only 50% when a double dip occurs. You'll need to do your maths. Its a specific 1 in 16 occurrence to generate the sequence that allows them to claim a DD.0
