That’s so close to finishing, well done.
Thanks WW.  It does feel good to nearly be seeing the back of this one.  Although it was interest free credit as it was brought for a particular item it has bugged me to not have it "ours".  I have snowballed this one but will switch to the avalanche method now.

We now have five credit cards! its only because I had to split up the biggest debt to get more zero percent.  I had closed the original card as soon as I had balance transferred but that was my highest balance so would have brought the ratio down.  most of the debt is now interest free for around 30 months. As of payment today there is £3,431.95 that 0% ends in Feb next year so this is the one we will concentrate on.

As of today the balances are:
    Furniture loan                       £      100.00
    Credit card 1                         £   3,431.95 0% till Feb 23
    Credit card 2                         £   2,116.08 0% till Apr 24
    Credit card 3                         £   3,461.66 0% till July 24
    Credit card 4                         £   5,252.59 0% till Dec 24
    Credit card 5                         £   1,937.81 0% till Oct 24
Old debt Mr M_F's old life     £   4,460.78 no interest charged
    Total                                      £ 20,760.87

    Sinking funds                        £      612.00
    Emergency funds (PB)         £      625.00

I will try and come back later and update with mortgage amount and retirement savings.

    Mortgage £74,084.39

    Pension 1.       £55,084.41
    Pension 2.       £18,329.10
    DB pension.   £2,208.25/yr. £6,624.69 lump-sum.

Making good progress and good to see you have lots of long life 0% deals. Mine are definitely shorter but I'm not knocking being able to have them.

Being able to use your tillies for the taps is a great idea. It won't take you long I'm sure.👍

Thanks @Naomim. I would prefer to have one really long 0% but it is what it is and at least I got them.
I was influenced by @Sea_Shell's end of month round ups so I may add the spends later as well.
Quite happy with how things going. Pensions need to be more but we have time. These and mortgage will be hammered when debt gone. It's interesting for me to see the bigger picture all in one place. I've excluded house value (around £200k) as that's only reliable when we sell or die so hopefully neither Will happen too soon.
I've also excluded cash at bank as that's for bills and spends for this month.

We have about double your mortgage left at the moment. My tillies are going there for now. I haven't really thought about the pensions. We have them but can't afford to do anything with them. Something to think about another time! I don't think I'm planning on taking any out when I'm 55.

Chances are you won't be able to as the age is rising to 57 around a year or two before we turn 55!
If you fund has a protected age of 55 you can but doubt we can afford it.
We are playing catch up with the pensions as we don't really have anything in the pot from years of not having a pension apart from a really old DB for Mr M_F . I suppose our smaller mortgage allows more into pension savings and we are empty nesters which helps too. You will probably be better of than us pension wise if you have paid in for longer.
    It's all swings and roundabouts.

Pensions are so confusing anyway! Not likely to be child free for a long time either 😖

    Morning all.
We watched a very interesting episode of under the median on you tube last night. Hope and Larry used an energy monitor on all their appliances to see what power was consumed while switched off but plugged in. They called it vampire power. OMG the result was shocking especially at how much cheaper power is in the US. We did a run round last night unplugging things like the TV before bed. We had still got the sky box plugged in even though cancelled! And a dvd player not used in yonks.
Worth a view peeps as it certainly is an eye opener.

Oh that is interesting. Does it still count if it’s plugged in, but switched off at the wall?
