Nothing much going on today in the way of debt busting. I have spent money on coffee but its come out of change in my purse so not affecting the budget.
I really don't like the limbo of being mid month when everything's just ticking along. I usually stare madly for hours at our budgets on YNAB or my spreadsheets with the vain hope that some more money will magically appear to be budgeted but nope today as usual my powers of persuasive eye straining have produced naff all. Maybe I should get puss cat or dog to try it as their eyes are well practised at persuasive staring and they usually manage to get a treat conjured up out of thin air doing so!
I may tweak my budgets slightly to be a bit more streamlined as I think I have too many true expense categories and some may be better covered by a catch all Dave Ramsey style emergency fund rather than lots of individual categories.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

*must not look to see which magazine has all the seeds*
i turned all of the emails off, although it is nice to see the odd dormant diary suddenly get an update after a few years.
i bought some 'extra gravy' cat fud today which will be our favourite thing ever for at least the next three hours. After that we will be back to what is this rubbish you are poisoning us with.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I read most of the house/food/gardening magazines via our library for free, but I do miss the 'free' seedsMy mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Our cat has settled on purina light dry. Gourmet mon petit sachets. Fish or chicken acceptable along with dreamies treats. He shares my lactose free milk and him and the dog get a bit of chicken or tuna or de breaded jumbo fish fingers or some of what we are having as extras. Prawns are favourites too. The dog eats anything but the cat is a fussy spoilt little ****Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

We like anything once or twice, but on day three everything is revolting. They make me look reasonable. The dogs like this because they get the rejected stuff mixed into their expensive dry food.

Sorry for filling your head wirh ideas of freebie seeds. This site is full of temptation isnt it. @[Deleted User] only mentioned a personal coffee dripper thing and there i was on online jungle site googling them. I resisted temptation (just) and saved the pennies for other things...will probally be something pet related grrDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

We gave up trying to feed cheaper things to our pets. The fussy cat wont eat it and the dog has tummy issues if she gets the cats leave offs which was happening frequently. To be honest dog has tummy issues with most things lolDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

Sun is poking his/her head out at the moment which is a welcome sight. Unfortunately may be short lived as it seems another storm is heading our way. I'm hoping it will hold off for most of the weekend as I saw a lovely picture on the web which has inspired me to try and make our front garden look a bit nicer. In true @foxgloves style I will be "shopping from home" (foxgloves can tell you all about that on her diary). The picture I saw has a lovely red climbing rose up the house and who would guess it but we have one inherited in the back garden that looks out of place that can be re-sited. It also has some lovely hydrangeas in the pic and we also have a large one in the back which can be split. Mr M_F is rather hoping the storm comes before hes put to work doing the heavy lifting! I also intend to put some of the "free" magazine seed plants out when I've grown them as well and I already have a few bulbs from last years pots to "re-home" into the front borders as well.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓
