I tend to find mine via my profile, especially if I haven't posted for a week or more. Sounds like a lovely lunch *ignores MrS spend*My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

ooh thanks for the tip!
I am back to report that I can thoroughly recommend Be-ro cookbooks Gingerbread cake. It was so scrummy I managed to polish off a huge piece more or less straight from the oven - normally that is Mr M_F's job as chief cake taster.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

The boiled fruit cake is great, and was a default for me. Would it be very bad to mention that The Pale Horse, Agatha Christie is 99p on kindle today? My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

boiled fruit cake?? I shall have to look that up as sounds like what Mr M_F would like.
I do like watching Agatha Christie but am ashamed to say I've never read her!!
We visited her house in Devon a few years ago was wonderful apart from the long walk from the village that Mr M_F convinced me would only take half hour!

Hullo diary land!
Today's spends included some toothbrush heads from a certain online jungle, cat treats, washing powder and somehow a gardening magazine made its way to the counterIt had 8 yes EIGHT free packets of flower seeds with it so I couldn't say no. The only other spend should be Mr M_F's travel fare back home. Maybe I should try these no spend days everyone on here rave's on about. We certainly do spend a bit on odds and sods through the week. It can't always be helped as we do find some things are better quality/priced from other stores but certainly the gardening magazines aren't exactly necessary. The seeds will be put to good use and should the sun dare poke his/her head out from behind the clouds this weekend some planting of said seeds along with sweet peas, and others at home may be gotten on with.
The shed could also do with a good clear out so there is actually room to do some pottering.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I haven't managed to find out how change email preferences to once daily and kept getting emails every time a reply was made on my bookmarked threads. I have however discovered that if you click the bookmark button in the top right hand corner (by your profile button) it takes you to a page where all your threads show together along with indicating if there are unread posts. This will be far better going forward as it stops the distractions from emails coming in frequently.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓
