Much fewer emojis too!I also used to collopse some sections of the forum in my home page and it would remember those settings. It doesn't now.Note:Edited this once, won't be able to again I suppose.1

A lot of the text for posts, signatures etc is now too small too read. Not all posters are the age of 14 with 20:20 vision. This is the same for the desktop version and mobile app version. I can barely see things!
Also, on the mobile app version the top of each thread has a log-in section and the search options showing. These take up an entire screens worth of real estate I have to scroll a screen and a half before I can even see any threads.

So, if you select a format before you type something, you seem to be stuck in that format. You can get out of it by going to HTML view and fixing it there, but surely that isn't the only way? The text I put in the "code" format isn't appearing in the preview either, only in the edit. Will this if I type it first and then change format to "code"? Yes it does!
Aaah, now I see. If you start the text in the "code" area with a carriage return, it doesn't show in the preview...I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. duncanthedog said:Can't see a way to click on the latest post on a thread, also when a thread is open and someone has typed more than the box holds there is no scroll button and the post also overruns the quote and thanks button, this might be my browser so I will need to check that.

Would be good to get some visual distinction back between threads with new unread posts since I last visited and those without (they always used to be bolder in the old design).7

In Competitions when you open a thread it opens at the bottom of any comment/replies rather than on the original post.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.2 -
A few things popping up regularly asking how to do stuff from the old Forum in the new one so thought I'd post a quick How To on some of the frequent ones...
Subscribe to a thread
This is now called Bookmarking and is available at the top of the thread and in the thread list view (screenshot below)
Jump to oldest unread
Is now default so if you've previously read a thread, the next time you visit, you'll be jumped straight to where you left off...no extra links to click!
Latest post date stamps
You can hover over these to see the full date and time but we're reviewing this...we don't want to fix it too quickly without testing it as it could break the layout of the lists (we'll report back soon)
