This is bothering me. Why is there vitamin A in cod liver oil? Its a nuisance because it limits how much I can take.

It's fat-soluble so it accumulates in liver. I know it's dodgy for smokers to take it, but are there other problems if you take too much?

I'm actually quite relieved, I was already getting myself into a bit of a state about having to go in tomorrow and the palpitations (through anxiety) had started again this evening....it's only been 15 minutes since receiving the news and they have magically gone.(I just lurve spiders!)

She needs to survive, so she can slide away in the middle of the night in her own bed, which is how we all want to go.6 -

Not sure if my hands will be able to still do it, if they can it certainly won't be at the same speed but I'll give it a good go.DH wasn't impressed, asking how we're supposed to move house with it. I don't really care if she's being productive. We didn't exchange contracts yesterday. Apparently everyone is ready but our buyer's solicitor wasn't answering the phone to anyone. The nail biting continues.Question is, do we start packing/moving? I've developed a terrible superstition that if I even start, we won't move. We'll end up under massive pressure if we don't, though. For a bit of change, I wanted to rent somewhere nearer to DD's school (11 miles away!) to make her life easier and within walking distance of a gym to cut the number of excuses I can find to go. That worked out well! The house is tiny because it's in an affluent area of Birmingham. We could have picked a massive house in a field. This happens to belong to a friend, though, and so it means we don't have to sign until we actually exchange. I won't have time to sign for anything else.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

All that "Stay Home" .... it's wonderful, I went out as I knew there'd not be all those people out there
I had to top the car up with a bit of fuel, I'd got it on the To Do List when I'd taken my car to the MoT garage, but, after it failed, that'd gone out of the window.... so I just did it.
7am, roads are virtually deserted. There was a small tumble of chavs in hoodies tumbling out of the Tesco Express door, probably early/first doors people who'd gone when they opened for something..
Garage, me + 2 others, I took the "pay at pump" option and used wipes to hold the nozzle. I could use that today as it was quiet/there was no queue, so I didn't have that urgency of cracking on and doing it, but could think/read what to do and achieve it.
Then home again. Sainsbury's (where the fuel station is) was open, no crowds or anybody noticeably crowding. There were 1-2 cars going into the car park, but that was it. It is one of the main superstores, so would be one of the busiest around.
It's pretty much silent out there - and I live on some quite major, normally fully congested, through roads.6 -
Hope the move goes ok Doozer and also that Pastures can find a suitable alternative.
I too was at the hairdresser yesterday as my very thick hair was totally out of control. Feel so much better now. I parked up in the first spot I could find, went to hairdresser where I was only customer as doing just one at a time then sanitising and then straight back to car. Couldn't believe how busy the whole town looked and that no one seemed to be putting any distance between themselves and others.
Tip from hairdresser for fringe- comb hair forward that you want to cut, place selotape where you want the fringe to be and cut along that line.
Apart from dog walking I am now in for the foreseeable.Spend less now, work less later.8 -

We've been told our jobs are safe and they fully intend to re-open once this is over, so hopefully, in time, our little family (which is how we see ourselves there), will be back together again.
We're already planning a virtual drinking night out...whilst staying in on our respective computers. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.7
