Hehe, I know I used to be able to crochet but I'm not sure my skills are quite good enough for things like that...I'll give it a go though thanks.GDB2222 said:Sue, if you're doing crochet, try to get some silver wire and crochet yourself a silver bracelet. I saw some lovely crocheted jewellery in the art market in Israel, and I think it might be quite easy to DIY.
This sort of thing.

My aim/goal, by the end of this crisis (or at least when we can come out of hibernation), is to make a blanket big enough to cover my double bed. Right now however, I'm trying to remember what to do, think I may have to visit YouTube for a reminder....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.5 -

Been writing my diary.Told to do it by the local crisis team. They thought it might help. Did it last time. It didn't.Am tempted to write the whole of next month's as well tomorrow. They are going to excommunicate me anyway because of what we have done.6

Our niece was due to get married in May in New York. None of us from the UK, including her parents, were going to be able to attend anyway, so they've brought it forward to this coming Monday. Good for them! They are broadcasting it on Skype, so we can watch. I always think these shindigs are a total waste of money. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?8

You're right... if it's not 5 miles away and you can drive round there .... and it's informal .... it's best to come up with an early excuse why you can't make it and stick to it.GDB2222 said:I always think these shindigs are a total waste of money.
