PN I thought of you yesterday and the stirfrys. When I woke up at 8am. Yes! Not been sleeping well. This is what I heard downstairs while lying in bed.BANG! bump, bump, bump, bump. Rustle, rustle, rustle, rustle, bump bump bump. Eeeeeeeeebang.Husband caught you! I know that you have sneaked out to a supermarket somewhere because I can hear the shopping bags rustling and you shutting the porch door.I knew this was going to be a problem because he has a sort of supermarket visiting addiction. I hate the places but he loves it in there. Then it turned out that he had gone out to one the day before as well.6

Some local annual festival/procession going on - he'd take mum... but his real aim was to visit the local supermarket close to that, then go in and get the same things and go home again6 -

How many pairs of shoes do people have? Buying lots of shoes because they look nice is a different universe to mine.I have a two pairs of crocs. One new and one nearly worn out. A pair of trainers, a pair of walking sandals a pair of "nice" shoes, my uniform band shoes that don't fit and a pair of slippers with a hole in the bottom of one of them. I have a new pair of slippers waiting until the current ones fall to bits. There is also a pair of wellies in the garage that are a couple of sizes too big.6

I do go a bit bonkers for unusual shoes. Some of them are works of art! They are pretty much all flat ones, though. I don’t do heels.
For “I do go”, read “I used to go”. In the last year I have only bought one pair, as I was in ill so much, and also I told myself off for keeping on buying shoes just to stare at them!
Also, when I found one style that was incredibly comfortable, I did buy several pairs of the same style, in different colours. Just as well, as they’ve stopped that style, now, and I’m on the last pair of my favourite coloured ones.
I also like green shoes, but green is rarely a colour option. I don’t know why.(I just lurve spiders!)

I have one pair of everyday shoes, one pair of heels and one pair of fit flop type things...none of them are under two years old.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.5 -

I'm actually quite relieved, I was already getting myself into a bit of a state about having to go in tomorrow and the palpitations (through anxiety) had started again this evening....it's only been 15 minutes since receiving the news and they have magically gone.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?6 -
Sue, if you're doing crochet, try to get some silver wire and crochet yourself a silver bracelet. I saw some lovely crocheted jewellery in the art market in Israel, and I think it might be quite easy to DIY.
This sort of thing.
