You have to be lucky every day, with every choice and decision.
The bug only has to be lucky once.6 -
Same in a big open space near us yesterday. lots of people out walking far more than on a usual Saturday afternoon.
DS commented that if he wasn't living with his fiancee they wouldn't be seeing each other, her reply was that both of them working from home in a tiny one bedroom flat wasn't ideal! I did suggest they move in with us, but they don't seem keen at the moment.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I actually wish that the weather wasn't quite so sunny at the moment. We are coastal, a traditional seaside place....yesterday it was packed on the prom, people queuing to buy ice creams, play park rammed (don't worry, I wasn't there, people put pictures on our local Facebook groups from their windows overlooking the seafront/our coastwatch cameras). Absolute madness.
What we need is the weather from February, wet, windy and cold, nice days always bring out the masses, nice days and children and people being told to social distance but go for a nice walk, brings out even more of the masses. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.6 -

Pyxis said:Cakeguts, I would recommend that you maybe watch just one news bulletin a day, just to make sure you get all the latest directives and stuff, iyswim. This has been covered by the doctor. I do not get to watch the news. My husband looks at The World Health Organisation information and tells me anything I need to know.I may appear to be only a bit depressed when I am writing on here. I have had 20 years of practice at controlling it.I don't want the crisis team to visit again. So no news.7

I’m sorry to hear that. What brings on the vertigo? Do you get it all the time, or just when looking down from a height? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?6

Great news folks!!!
oh wow!!
Just got an email to say I’ve won a Lucky Dip on the National Lottery!
That makes everything all right again, then! 😉
edit......(for the uninitiated, a Lucky Dip is when two of your numbers come up, so you are given another free go in the next one).(I just lurve spiders!)
