I'm watching a gig.....online.
The band initially had a gig booked for today but due to the unmentionable subject, obviously it had to be postponed. They have taken it online instead (they all live in the same house so no worries about social distancing). We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.6 -

Oh well, as they say, better than a poke in the eye with sharp stick! At least you got your money back! ☹️
Edit ....watch out for April 2nd if I report the top prize Premium Bond win on April 1st! 😂😂😂😱😱😱

Today I've had: Some chocolate, packet of crisps, noodle pot and a satsuma.
I wonder what that would be like as a stirfry?(I just lurve spiders!)

It’s interesting, what music does to the brain.Cakeguts said:Pyxis said:
I had a quick peek the other day, but I am not a lover of very modern classical stuff.Cakeguts said:I think Glagolitic Mass 24/7 would do that to most people.I just like it.A lot.
I might give it another go, though.
My relaxation/calming/endorphin-tap classical of choice is deffo Baroque.
Baroque rocks, Ok?
And Early Music.I have found another piece that does it. I have 3 so far.Bartered Bride Overture by Smetana.Lots of pieces of music that I like but they don't spark something in my brain cell.
Whenever I went on accappella singing holidays/weekends, there were always one or two set of chords/chord progressions that would end with me dissolved into tears in the middle of singing. Not the words, just particular chords etc. that would set me off.
Luckily, the leader would always explain this might happen!
Equally luckily, I wasn’t the only one, and the ‘regulars’ are used to me now!(I just lurve spiders!)

For those that like opera, the New York Met opera is streaming a new opera every night this week. 7.30pm EST which I think is 11.40pm UK time, but will be available on their website for 20 hours. www.metopera.org .I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Pastures, when you finally get your forever home, I shall come round and cook you a house-warming celebratory dinner.
Unfortunately, the only meals I cook these days are ...stir-fries! 😂😂😂
