To my eyes, the original design looks infinitely better. It's more of a house than I can justify myself buying, but I'd be much more likely to buy it as it originally looked, compared to the current look.

Reminds me of a friend of ours. His place was all white too. A friend of his painted it for him and complained he felt like he was snowblind by the time he was done! It definitely wasn't somewhere you'd want to spill a glass of red wine.

Had a stop over in Bali once... Hot, and very, very humid. I wouldn't want to live there all year.... And i see that property has the obligatory large clock on the wall

I've also played 'count the toilets' for some buildings. Not as many as in the property you've linked to, but the number of toilets sometimes seems to grow faster than the floor space does, on average.

I don't know what the cause is, but there are some strange effects on the roofs of the house/houses here when viewed on the page. Bringing up the full size image makes the effect go away.

Good luck to anyone hoping to renovate that wreck for £160K.  Build costs start at about £2000 per square metre now so that is easily a £400K  renovation.
