Reminds me of a friend of ours. His place was all white too. A friend of his painted it for him and complained he felt like he was snowblind by the time he was done! It definitely wasn't somewhere you'd want to spill a glass of red wine.

I have this image in my head of the previous owners lugging home this giant pot of white paint from B&Q because it was a bargain. I'd be scared to break wind in that house in case it left a discoloured patch on the wall.

On the plus side, white is a good base for just about any colour, unlike grey. Think of it as "ready primed", and go get yourself some tins of Farrow & Ball.

And the flip flops by the door in an otherwise empty room! It's very strange - almost devoid of furniture or signs of actual living, but then an ironing board that looks mid-use, an almost-empty bottle of washing up liquid... does someone live there or not??

Somehow the hoodie makes me think that ET lived there, but they came and took him home.

My son says that he's looking forward to having a room he can decorate himself, and I'm worried as to what he might do. Perhaps oneday it'll end up on here in this thread...

Yes - a lovely clean blank canvas.  But I'd want a door on that top floor bedroom 1.

Interesting that shows next door is 2 (or more?) flats and next door wraps around behind this house.  Neither of those facts are obvious from the property listing and would both put me off.
