Or is that just a picture of a dog stuck to the flap?  I can't see the flap being lifted or perhaps there is no flap but just a gap in the door.  (But probably just my poor eyesight.)

Just what is so bad or unsafe about it?

By gutting it, fitting (well nearly fitting) a new kitchen and bathroom upstairs, they hope to woo buyers?  I bet they are not even connected and working.

But seriously, in an age when we need to be making our buildings more efficient, why would anyone want to mess about with a derelict, probably unsafe, certainly un insulated and draughty old wreck of a house?  the best thing you could do there is buldoze it and build a completely new house in it's place to modern standards.

Blaenau Ffestiniog sits within (but excluded from) Snowdonia National Park. Perhaps this is some way impacts redevelopment? With the mountain right behind the property, there is likely no room to place a larger property on the plot. Perhaps aimed at being holiday let’s with a UNESCO Heritage site on its door step.

It used to be a kebab shop. The owner obtained planning to convert it into flats, but only managed to do a small amount. The front was to be rebuilt and either it simply wasn't finished, or perhaps part of it collapsed, who knows.
