The big question though, is what the local council will actually allow him to do with it. re: planning permission.
Unless he has got some strong indications already for a change of use, he is taking a chance.Squibb, 49, is hoping to get permission from the local council to turn it into a pop-up shop, office or “live-work space” that entrepreneurs can use – potentially for up to a month at a time – free of charge. Not that he is too bothered I suppose:
Property developers have also contacted him to tell him that, with the right planning permission, it could be developed and sold for £500,000.At the very least, he said he hoped he would be allowed to put a desk on the landing and use it as an office space himself. “I own a £2m mansion not too far away, but I think I actually prefer the staircase. It’s the potential of what it can do to help other people. It really excites me.”

I think some of us are showing our age! I got it straight away.
Unless by quite some stretch , a business space is some kind of sanctuary , I suppose.
Oh well, let's move on.
Anyway, back to houses!0 -

"As you enter through the gated courtyard small back garden"
That appears to be the only entrance.
What looks like the front of the house, (where the slide is) is now the "back door" to the long garden. but no way it seems to get to what would normally be the front of the house directly.
Of course that also means no off road parking etc.1 -
Aye, queer setup eh. And streetview is no help. It's almost as if they put a back garden on the front of the house...I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.1
